Hello.
Could you please elaborate why did you convert this from building:part into just plain area? And what exactly do you mean by Stuytown Gyms? What kind of feature is this?

It doesn't matter if it's local area or not.🙂

But if a feature is tagged as it doesn't exist, all the other facts become irrelevant.. because it doesn't exist anymore.
I don't know how exactly you are processing OSM data but adding support for features that are tagged as closed seems like a very logical thing to do.

disused: lifecycle prefix is a standard way to tag closed places... disused:*=*

132770099 almost 3 years ago

Hello.
This is already tagged as disused:amenity=atm, so
there's no need to add disused:currency:XBT to it. Data consumers already know that it doesn't exist.

I'm not sure if curb cutouts is an endorsement by DoT that people can cross there.
At the very least I think we definitely shouldn't tag unmarked crosswalks where there are 3 marked and 1 unmarked on an intersection.

132750938 almost 3 years ago

Hello.
I see that in many places you've been adding crossing=unmarked. I'm not sure if this is correct to map them. Streets are intended to be crossed where there's a crosswalk. If you map unmarked crosswalks then logically speaking 100% of the area between 2 parallel sidewalks should be marked as unmarked crosswalk since you can cross the street at any point.

That doesn't seem to be grammatically correct for the Russian language rules. These are 2 and 3 separate words, not joined words. 🤔

optimally, group them per neighborhood, but at most group them by state.

Once again, PLEASE split up your changesets into smaller bboxes. There's no need for such a huge bbox for only 3 POIs

Hello.
Shouldn't this be "Стадион Метлайф"?

Hello.
Shouldn't it be "Вулворт Билдинг"?
And in general, shouldn't each word be capitalized since they are names?

Hello.
When mapping features please pay attention not to glue features to each other unless they are actually connected. In this edit you glued dog park to the sidewalk..
Additionally, opening_hours tag has a pretty specific syntax. You can read more about it at opening_hours=*

There's no need to have such a giant bbox to update just 5 things. Please split up your changeset into smaller geographical areas.

I'll repeat once again, location description does not belong in the POI name. We have branch= tag for that! This is the last time I'm fixing this. Next time you do it, I'll flag your account to DWG!

I see what you are referring to.👍
Perhaps it's better to retag these buildings using building:part= style as documented in building:part=* ?

132642705 almost 3 years ago

Hello.
Please note that you made a mistake here. When dealing with buildings that are constructed as relations, all tags must be on relations themselves. Elements that define outer and inner parts of building should be tagless lines. You can read more about it here osm.wiki/Relation:building
