Please take a look at this article osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments |

| 120671471 | over 3 years ago | How exactly are you doing a better job by outright deleting valid address nodes and creating new ones with wrong information?
|
| 120670907 | over 3 years ago | This is clearly a 3-story residential building. As such it is wrong to tag it as having 1 level.
|
| 120670195 | over 3 years ago | Why did you delete a valid address node?

| 120648348 | over 3 years ago | Also regarding the razed train tracks, consider checking out this article, it talks about it in more details osm.wiki/Demolished_Railway |
| 120648348 | over 3 years ago | Not glueing to roads(unless necessary) is a good practice 🙂 but beyond that it's better to map features to what they are in the real world. If there's a school or a park or a construction site or some other clearly defined feature, map them to their actual perimeter which often is demarked with a fence or grass adjacent to sidewalks.🙂👍

| 120648348 | over 3 years ago | Additionally, you mapped razed LIRR Rockaway Beach Branch tracks. However, looking at the available satellite imagery, there are no traces of those tracks whatsoever. As such there's no point mapping them. OSM is about what's in the world now, not what once was there. If you want, you are welcome to map these tracks in OHM.👍

| 120480745 | over 3 years ago | Also, having said that, one thing you should be aware of, is that for mappers one of the most important aspect is to make sure that the underlying data is as accurate as possible, and not that the map looks pretty. 🙂
It's an incorrect approach to try to intentionally fudge things around just so that it shows up the way you like in one specific map style.
|
| 120480745 | over 3 years ago | I'm not sure what map you were looking at, perhaps it has some old cached data, but here on default OSM map style this building shows the name of what it is. |

| 120479513 | over 3 years ago | There's no pettiness here.
Why don't you and your cryptobros stop vandalizing the map and go buy some more of those beanie babies, that'll be a lot more useful. |
