is this accurate that this sidewalk is asphalt? Generally sidewalks are made of concrete.

Hello.
When mapping crosswalks please pay attention to the tactile_paving= tag. There's some nuance with this tag. If this tag is on the crosswalk way, it refers if the actual crosswalk has any type of tactile surface along its whole length.

If that tag is on the intersecting node of crosswalk and street, it refers to if the curbs on either side have tactile paving (often orange/red/grey plastic bump plate).

Hello.
This changeset has the same problems as your previous one. Bus route number goes into route_ref= tag. It is different from the actual bus stop number.
Please correct these.

Hello.
Please note that "Stop Number" (ref=) tag is supposed to be the 6-digit number of the bus stop itself, not the route number. It can be found on the rectangular box that hangs on the pole of each bus stop, or MTA's bustime website.

Route number goes into route_ref= tag.

Please note that you can NOT under any circumstances use Google Streetview or Maps to map in OSM! It is a copyright violation and a breach of ToS with both Google and OSM.

Hello.
Could you please elaborate on this edit?
You deleted amenity=post_box, but left every other tag in place?

Hello.
I noticed you are making your edits using "National Agriculture Imagery Program" imagery. In NYC it's dated to ~2020-2022 and as of now it's older than Bing's imagery from the fall of 2023. Please make your edits based on the most current available imagery. ๐Ÿ‘

Hello.
Please note that since in US thereโ€™s no official regulatory body managing hotel star ratings and each hotel can rate themselves however many stars they want, it serves no purpose other than promotional/advertisement for the hotels.
As such, in US the use of stars= tag for hotels should be deprecated.

Hello.
Since in US thereโ€™s no official regulatory body managing hotel star ratings and each hotel can rate themselves however many stars they want, it serves no purpose other than promotional/advertisement for the hotels.
As such, the use of stars=* tag in US is deprecated.

Also, when adding street names they must always be fully spelled out. Instead of "E Ocean Boulevard" it should be "East Ocean Boulevard".

Furthermore, as explicitly documented on description=* the description= MUST NEVER be used for advertising or other promotional messaging. It MUST BE a neutral tone description of a given feature.

Additionally, since this is apparently a Marriot hotel, brand= and brand:wikidata= should not be pointing to Renaissance but to Marriott.

And finally, location description ("Long Beach Downtown") must NOT be part of the feature's name. We have branch= tag for that.

Hello.
When mapping crosswalks, if they are straight, please map them as straight ways. Not only would that make them more closely represent the real world features, but it also makes your mapping look less sloppy. JOSM has a shortcut key to straight a way. ๐Ÿ‘

Hello.
Rather than listing all the separate credit cards and then unfairly highlighting apple pay, you can simply tag this as credit cards, debit cards and contactless.

Hello.
Please note that craft=scaffolder is intended for the company office. This is not how you map sidewalk sheds/scaffolding.

Additionally, there's no need to add "addr:unit=1FL" to biz just because it's on the first floor, unless that is actually part of the official address of that biz.
And if you want to indicate the floor number that is part of the address, it should be tagged as osm.wiki/Tag:addr:floor=. You can read more about this at addr:*=*
