Since in US there’s no official regulatory body managing hotel star ratings and each hotel can rate themselves however many stars they want, it serves no purpose other than promotional/advertisement for the hotels.
As such, this tag is going to be removed.

"level=0" is also a valid tag. That indicates the actual location of that feature. But addr:* is related the address info itself, not necessarily physical location.

One small tip: if you shift-click on multiple nodes to select them, then you can press "S" button to align them all into a straight line. In this case you could do it with all these stores to straight them all and make your mapping look neater.

Hello.
You tagged this bus as having a trash bin. I've never seen a bus stop in NYC with one...
You also tagged that this bus stop doesn't have a number. They are printed on one of the sides of the rectangular box that's hanging on the bus stop pole.

Hello.
Rather than compeltely deleting this POI, it's must better to use lifecycle prefixes as documented on osm.wiki/Lifecycle_prefix, or at the very least delete biz-specific info, but leave address tags intact. Doing that preserves the history of this object, if there's ever a need to refer to that in the future.

Hello.
Please split your edits by geographic region. There's no reason for the same changeset to contain edits in US and in India. Please make and submit them separately.

Hello.
When mapping sidewalks, please split them at each corner rather than a single way looping around the whole block. Just like you don't map roads a single loop around a block, sidewalks should be properly split up as well.

Hello.
The way you indicate 2nd floor is not by using addr:unit tag, but rather there's a dedicated addr:floor tag for this. You can read more about it at addr:floor=*

Were they completely demolished and it's an empty lot now or they just closed but physical structures are still there?

Hello.
When mapping features please pay attention to position them accurately where they actually area. I highly doubt parking lots overlap and go over the top of sections of apartment buildings.

Looking closer at this, there are a couple of issues.
I don't think it should be name "El." in either case. We shouldn't abbreviate names. It could be "IRT Third Avenue Line" like wikipedia suggests or the official name from MTA, or IRT at that time.
But more importantly, I don't think this feature should be mapped AT ALL. From what I see this line was last in service until 1973 and the demolition completed in 1977. There's absolutely nothing left of these segments. OSM is a map of the world NOW, not how it was almost 50 years ago. This should go into OHM.

That's not the point. The purpose of the "name:etymology=" tag is to record for whom/what a given feature is named.

As documented in name:etymology=*, "In general, this key is used when the source of the name for a street (or other element) is not obvious, or when multiple possibilities require disambiguation.

You have "name=Plane View"+"name:etymology=Morris Canal Plane 2W". This doesn't make sense.
