A big improvement, thanks. I had been thinking of doing something similar, but hadn't plucked up the guts to do so!

The routing is quite messy here, as various cycle routes meet, and the main east west route switches from the side of the road to going through the middle, via a pedestrian crossing

Thanks Tom for noticing this!

I've got NO idea why they have a highway tag instead of a building one! I assume I must have typed something wrong for one then copied them across to the others, LOL as they're definitely buildings
Will correct them now

True, they're a bit more up to date than the other aerial shots!

Hello. Those aren't the Branch Hill allotments, which are at the corner of Branch Hill/Frognall Rise and Oak Hill Way. The area you've mapped is just scrubby grassland

I've changed this, though having it just as an entrance is less informative, as the rendering doesn't now give the name of the station, which isn't at all obvious due to the distance from the "main" Bond Street station

Thanks for that custom imagery link, that's really useful!
I'll tweak my mapping a bit based on it, as the path is out in the open

I will correct this based on the out of date aerial photo and my recollections

Hello
It's a separate footpath. Indeed the mapping of the path and the service road isn't correct as the road is visibly (from the aerial photo) in the wrong place, while path leave the road and is on the other side of the woodland, next to the school grounds.

Bedfordshire are planning to upgrade FP14 to become a restricted byway, like the Herts side. Interestingly the maps suggest that along part of the route, there are parallel paths, one on either side of the boundary!

That sound fair. The top entrance (at The Ridgeway) was locked for everyone when I was there, maybe I was unlucky. I've no idea when the whole scheme is meant to be open - I've not seen any details - at the moment the path is sand, will it be tarmaced? - and at some point I assume the style opposite will be removed too!
None of the signage has been updated yet, and the London LOOP trail hasn't been diverted either.

I made a Fix me note on this path, as it doesn't seem to be open yet (unlike the other section that you have excellently mapped) having walked it yesterday.

The alignment of Cricklewood Lane isn't correct. It now cuts the corner across where the demolished building on the corner was (as I mapped it).
The satellite picture isn't up to date

The description above has nothing to do with this changeset! It should read, updating the status of this car park and adding in a £2 parking fee

Sorry my error, please correct it to whatever it should be

Apologies, but I don't know the service road in question, I was just adjusting the Relations which use it (as I intend at some point to do one of the designated Hikes).

It was venredd who originally created this, and priymose who then added the access=private, so maybe of them would know?

Thanks Bernard, I now understand my mistake and have deleted this. I was trying to add the path/highway to a relation, rather than create a new one. I think I know how to do this now
