Hi,

What reason did you have for turning this highway into a sidewalk?

76232333 about 6 years ago

I feel like it should be noted that a lot of the aerial imagery around this area is quite outdated. Two things I noticed were that the lane markings on High St have changed not insubstantially since the time that the Big imagery was taken, and that E Sixteenth Ave now connects all the way to High, so the curb no longer goes straight across.

If you don't mind me asking, what indicated that this was SEO spam? I did remove the description spam when I noticed this node had been added (along with making sure the opening hours and phone number follow the standard formats), but everything else seemed to be pretty normal for a POI.

I've reverted the changeset. If you just want to see these features on a map (for yourself or to share with others), you can check out Google My Maps: https://www.google.com/mymaps

Is there a particular reason why you would want to do that? There are plenty of apps/games that use OSM data, but none of their "in-game" features (like Pokestops and gyms) are mapped here. The general guideline is that unless it's something that is physically present when you go to that location, it shouldn't be mapped.

I haven't yet, as it's generally seen as polite to let people correct their own mistakes. However, I can revert it for you if you'd like.

Hello, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Because OSM is a map of the real world, features that you add should be ones that do exist "on the ground". As such, Pokemon Go gyms are not considered an appropriate feature to add. Consequently, I will need to ask you to revert this changeset.

Hello!

This service road no longer exists. Everything in this area was recently torn down for new development. In general, if a road you're adding to the map goes through another building that someone else has already added (as it does here), it's probably a good idea to double-check.

Removing building=yes was definitely good, but you also removed the node's name, which was not good. Similarly, in 73639616, you deleted the tag building=elevator, rather than correcting it to the proper highway=elevator.

Hello!

Could you explain what you're aiming to do with this edit (as well as many others you've recently made throughout Columbus)? In some (73639243, 73639166) you seem to be replacing address points with buildings (which is good), but in others (this one, 73639616) you seem to be removing perfectly good, useful information.

Hello! Could you provide a source for this edit? It seems unlikely that this house has been expanded to such an irregular shape, taking out four other houses with it.

Hello,

These areas were recently (within the last two weeks) converted into a garden, so the original tagging was correct.

Not to detract from all the hard work you've gone through here, but this golf course is actually now a residential neighborhood. Also, the tag golf=cartway isn't currently an actual tag in use, so they won't appear on most map renderers. The current standard is either highway=footway or highway=track.

Hey, just to let you know, most of the paths you added in this changeset don't exist anymore, due to the Mirror Lake renovation.

Hey, this area has been undergoing a significant amount of construction over the last year or so, and part of that construction was the connecting of of E 16th Ave to N High St.

Of course, I entirely understand and thank you for fixing the issue. This was the second time in a week that someone from your organization broke the OSU multipolygon by modifying intersections without looking at relations, so if I sounded a little short/rude because of that, I apologize.

Hello, I had to revert this changeset because it broke the Ohio State multipolygon.

Building itself is known as the Schottenstein Center. "Value City Arena" only applies to the seating area inside the building.

Hey, the roads you put in have been removed as part of a construction project. This should have been obvious as some of the roads you've added go through buildings. I'll need to revert this changeset.
