ho notato solo ora, tornando a visualizzare questa zona, che hai cambiato il nome di una way, che avevo indicato come "Strada del Postiglione" in "Strada delle Cascine".

La way è questa: way/44306831/history#map=16/45.0097/8.9766

In realtà, forse, abbiamo ragione e torto entrambi: stasera ho provato a caricare in JOSM il layer della CTR Lombardia (quello col DBT), ed ho notato che a partire dal cimitero di Medassino è riportato "Strada Postiglione"... fino a questo punto:

node/2321856796/history#map=16/45.0073/8.9745

Dopodiché la CTR riporta "Strada Cascine".

Se per te va bene, quindi, io smezzerei la way nel punto che ho indicato e ripristinerei "Strada Postiglione" nella parte a sud.

Hi Fredie,
it seems you caused some damages by deleting and unifying ways (i.e. landuses).

Fortunately you also did a lot of useful mapping, and this is the reason I'm not proceeding with a full revert; instead, I'll try to restore some of the objects I have mapped, in the area of Cornale (PV) and Isola Sant'Antonio (AL).

Spero che tu non te la prenda se ti faccio notare un errore, che sicuramente hai commesso in buona fede.

Mi sono imbattuto per caso in alcuni edifici che hai mappato nella zona intorno a Pettino (changeset/41690111#map=17/42.85935/12.82260), ed ho notato che hai tracciato il contorno dei tetti.

Purtroppo questo modo di procedere non è corretto, perchè le immagini aeree (apecialmente di Bing/Mapbox) a volte inquadrano gli oggetti "di tre quarti", mentre la mappa dovrebbe rappresentarli in pianta (ovvero come se fossero visti, a perpendicolo, dall'alto).

Inoltre, nelle immagini, il tetto è più vicino all'obiettivo della fotocamera ed appare più grande di quanto invece non sia realmente l'edificio.

La "buona pratica" della mappatura OSM vorrebbe che siano tracciati i contorni degli edifici seguendone il "piede", ovvero la parte inferiore delle pareti di facciata, oppure la linea di proiezione del tetto sul terreno. Spesso non è facile nemmeno per i mappatori più esperti (soprattutto se le foto sono molto distorte), in generale, però, l'approssimazione che si ottiene è molto migliore della semplice rappresentazione delle cose così come le si vede.

Hi Jan,

about way/47421778: it's a narrow road, running down a hill with a quite steep slope: in case of snow, it becomes very dangerous for circulation.

The dangerous part begins only out of the village of Cella, so at the beginning of the road there's a sign indicating that access is reserved, in case of snow, only to people living in that street

According to the Italian Law of the Road, the used sign (Blank white disc with red border) forbids access to all vehicles, motor-, man- and animal-powered. Only pedestrians are allowed to transit (and in this case, only resident' vehicles).

Under the circular sign are the writings (translation from Italian):

Alternate route: please use Provincial Road (which is SP125 from Montalto Pavese)

When I mapped this road I didn't think to the combination you propose: in effect it uses standard OSM tagging, and I think I'll adopt it too.

thanks for reporting me this issue!

It's definitely a typo, my meaning was "private", being that way just an access to private houses.

I also checked for similar errors in the neighborhood, and found another couple ("access=pr"). Fixed them too.
