From reading https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Sahara it seems that it was initially colony of Spain then it transfomed into current state. https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#iso:code:3166:EH assigns it to Western Sahara and from what I understand "the territory held by the Polisario Front" and "area de facto controlled by Western Sahara" is the same. |
