Hello, this is Marco! I'm posting on behalf of VVA Consulting and DKE Aerospace.
We are supporting the European Commission in the creation of a positioning API for the developers of mobile applications based on positioning.
The API will allow mobile apps developers to improve the positioning provided by GPS in their apps. It will include an open-source specific library which will ensure that the benefits granted by the API are freely available to everyone once that it will be developed.

well this is once again a post for your project that is broadcastet worldwide. I'm not that sure this will bring you any followers. Instead you might try to show us development or ask us for concrete ideas.

This was the last posting of the announcement. Sorry if it was a bit pushy, but the API is under development right now, and the survey is meant to understand which functionalities should be implemented in the first version, which will be released on the 15th of September.
The determination of the first functionalities is very important to us, as they will allow to show the potential of the API to developers. As soon as the development will proceed I will of course bring forward more concrete issues, but these issues won't be interesting for the communities if people won't be able to have a hint of the tool's potential first.
