Delete

Posted by Mappme7 on 25 November 2025 in English.

Hello. I created this account for one reason: to plead with the creators to delete this software’s source code entirely. Its existence is an affront to humanity. If we erase every trace of it. pretend it was never even conceived. we might still spare countless people by guiding them toward software that actually includes speed limits, speed cameras, and school-zone warnings. That future would be far brighter than the one built on a map this catastrophically useless.

Example of uselessness:

That’s just a left turn, btw.

There is nothing wrong with the OpenStreetMap data.

osm.org/directions?engine=fossgis_osrm_car&route=32.516145%2C-93.706276%3B32.516674%2C-93.707194#map=18/32.517203/-93.707352&layers=N

It looks like an issue with the app you are using, but as you haven’t told us what app it is maybe report the problem to the developers.

Please note, there are no restrictions in the database to turning left at this intersection, and there have not been any edits to the data in 5 years. There are also no vehicle restrictions on these sections of road in the database.

The map source you are using is likely outdated from before 2020. Please update your map data with the latest free of charge, and free to access information.

Many thanks, 0235

This is the best joke I’ve read all year, I’m still chuckling.
