Changeset When Comment

Hi, thanks for the notice. This weekend I'll see if I can find my photographs of this place.

Due to your persistent vandalism, all your changesets have been reverted and you are blocked from further editing.

Hi, you break destinations. The destination:lanes=destforlane1|destforlane2|… tag requires one value per lane. The turn:lanes tag you add is incorrect in the same way. Please read the wiki before editing <tag>:lanes: osm.wiki/Lanes

village_green is specifieks: "a distinctive part of a village centre". It's an area of common land (usually grass but may also be a lake), in the centre of a village.

Yes, that's very true :p

Seems to have been introduced in changeset/15177330

Full disclosure: I salvaged my fixes that were not "removing line=substation" in changeset/62613792 . The line=substation is still there.

62613792 over 7 years ago

This is a technically a reversion of changeset/62612995, but I re-added the (in my view still pointless) tag "line=substation", so the net result now is only non controversial fixes to power infrastructure around the world.

But thanks anyway for having the courtesy of notifying me, and not covertly adding shaming FIXME's in the database, like mrlanduse did. Much appreciated.

And what does this tag mean? How can you claim to add meaningful information when you don't define what it should mean? I can understand if you're testing stuff and you're documenting when you played around a bit, I can also understand if tags are so obvious you don't bother with documenting them, but stuff like this?

Hi, is it your deliberate choice to use voltage=230k instead of voltage=230000? This is non-standard. If you don't aim to change tagging practices, you should consider using 230000 instead. Best, M!dgard

I mean in changeset/62598739 .

Re: "splitting the same work to hamper detection": I zoomed in to look at the individual regions before making the change, and did some other maintenance. I then proceeded to upload, then purge those objects. That, and avoiding to clutter the global history tab, were my motives to create small changesets.

62042396 over 7 years ago

By the way, the tag power=bay you're adding everywhere is incorrect in a lot (probably most) of the cases. The bay only starts where the lines connect to the stuff in the substation, not at the last tower.

This CS has been reverted in way/569616493

@RussNelson: I think you should know that I didn't remove any features, only an attribute tag that wasn't useful to anyone because it was undefined.

> either line=bay or line=busbar, information was deleted by M!dgard

This is not true. You can view in the object's edit history that it was line=substation. This tag is not documented anywhere and it's not obvious, it's not clear what it should mean.
So I removed it to stop it from showing up as a suggestion in editors. iD suggests tags based on usage and nothing else, so this is the only way.
