I also made some more manual changes in JOSM, mainly to improve the comments entered in the On Wheels app, they were often describing POI type.

Drinking water fountains are very nice to have. However, I reverted this for now (changeset/141532204) because of lack of community consultation, poor quality and most of all no legal permission to copy this data.

To go forward, rubenpoppe, you can (in no particular order):
- Contact De Watergroep and ask if we can use their data in OSM.
- Consult with the Belgian community by creating a topic at https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/be/61
- Establish a path to improve the quality: ensure access and improve the location. One possibility is to coordinate the import via MapComplete. The community can probably help with that.

As far as I know, for the moment, the client uses a routing profile that just allows access to all private roads.

Hi,

delivery is not accurate here since one needs a specific permit to enter the zone. The tagging as it was already expresses that permit holders can enter:

vehicle=private, private=exceptional_permit, exceptional_permit=BE:gent:autovrij_gebied

and

vehicle=no, vehicle:conditional=private @ (18:00-11:00), private=exceptional_permit, exceptional_permit=BE:gent:autovrij_gebied (for streets that are pedestrian zone between 11 and 18).

The Ghent zone was mapped by me for a client who is now using this data in their software. If you have further questions, feel free to contact me.

If your routing software does not take this into account yet, you could consider asking its developers to support this.

Ik ga wel akkoord met je sentiment; privéopritten zouden verborgen mogen blijven tot je ver ingezoomd bent.

In deze wijzigingenset schrapte u name=Wetteren en voegde in de plaats name:be=Wetteren toe. De "be" daarin is een taalcode, om meertalige namen uit te drukken. Zo hebben we op Brussel (node/1635651356) onder andere name:nl=Brussel, name:fr=Bruxelles, en name:be=Брусель (Brussel in het Wit-Russisch). En ook "name=Bruxelles - Brussel" met de naam in de officiële talen van dat gebied. (Veel) meer informatie vind je op osm.wiki/Multilingual_names . Laat gerust iets weten als het nog niet duidelijk is.

Beste, gelieve niet de name-tag te vervangen door name:be, om volgende redenen:

1) Er moet sowieso een name-tag blijven staan, in Nederlandstalig gebied heeft die Nederlandstalige naam.

2) be is de taalcode voor Wit-Russisch. "Wetteren" is niet de Wit-Russische naam van Wetteren.

Openingsuren worden liefst genoteerd in de standaardsyntax die beschreven staat op opening_hours=*. Zo kan software automatisch tonen of een zaak momenteel open of gesloten is.
