Hi @SomeoneElse, he only changed one river and there is only one river in this area. My comment was for him and he know what he changed. It was about Khasa River.

Again we here are talking about edits in this changeset. if you keep being an ignorant then I'm not going to repeat myself over and over while you do not understand nor cooperate. I was being very patient with you, don't take advantage of this.
You are being a hypocrite here when you say a neighborhood in another area should be bilingual while you delete the bilingual from a town here.

Why are you keep changing objects name to Kurdish? please answer me, I've asked this many times before.

126126047 over 3 years ago

Again, you're not comparing apple to apple, read my comments again and read my messages, I've already answered this many time and even gave you examples of how it's mapped around the world. Please read carefully. Take a break and read it after your break.

Again, here we are talking about Ankawa town in Erbil, not a neighborhood in another state.
Also, please use respectful words.

126126047 over 3 years ago

Here we are discussing this matter, the matter of this node.
Your comparison here is not apple to apple, here is different alphabet too.
And there is no 100% Kurdish neighborhood in Kirkuk, not even the most populated Kurdish areas inside the Kurdish region.
Here, this town of Ankawa should be in bilingual language, the language of the locals and the language that's spoken by nearby locals. Please don't argue and try to understand.

I believe it should be in the official name, "Al-Najaf International Stadium" instead of "Al-Najaf Stadium (Nida)"

I searched so much and never saw anyone who call it by the neighborhood name, so I guess even loc_name is not needed,

And the constitution said it is an official language. Here in OSM we use local language as the language of 'name' this town 'name' should be in bilingual in local Syriac and Kurdish for the nearby residents.

>You are watering down the number of Kurds in Kirkuk.
And how's this related to your edit here? Here we are talking about a town in another state.

> I didnt cuss you .
go read your previous messages and see what you said at the end of each one of them.

> the dwellers of Ankawa do not understand that alphabet.
also wrong, this alphabet and language. is used by the locals of this town as the only spoken language and it is mandatory to teach how to write and read in Schools.

> Most of them are Pure Arabs.
No, they are Assyrians who speak Syriac, most of them barely speak Kurdish and use the Arabic language with the Kurds since it's a language both parties understand.

> their mother tongue is chaldean and Arabic
Chaldean is an accent of the Syriac language, and Arabic is not their mother language.

Please read here and try understand more about Ankawa town:

Hello,

>Iraqi but living in Ireland.
Still, no. I don't know what is your point of this. what's wrong if someone is Irish or lives in Ireland? you previously called me American many times and did not answer when I asked why you're saying this. There is nothing wrong with being an Irish, British, or American who edits in Iraq. Anyone can edit anything here in OSM. Is it maybe I use English in my changeset comments? Well, that's because English is the most known language, and it makes it easier to understand for all mappers.

>The Iraqi constitution says "The Assyrian language does exist in Iraq"
No, it says it is an official language that's recognized and used by law.
You said "alien alphabet corrected." in "in changeset/126162367" how is it "alien" if it's the mother language of the native people who live here for thousands of years? then you said "No one can read this script except 200 people in the whole country." which is disrespectful by watering down the numbers of the existing 500k Christians who read this in Iraq. This town is 99% and that is why we used Syriac in the name tag alongside Kurdish, the language the others speak outside and the nearby areas of this town.

I've sent you tens of messages trying to explain OSM rules to you and you keep cussing me and using bad words.

Please behave.

>You are Irish?
No, I'm Iraqi.

>but it is not recognized by the constitution.
Wrong, it is recognized in the constitution as a minority official language, read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_Iraq#Official_languages:~:text=Term%20%22Syriac%22%20(Arabic%3A%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A9%20/%20al%2Dsuriania)%5B12%5D%5B13%5D%20is%20used%20in%20the%20Constitution%20as%20an%20official%20designation%20for%20the%20minority%20language%20of%20Neo%2DAramaic%2Dspeaking%20communities

Why did you remove the spaces from alt_name and material tag in way/1076927375?

126097173 over 3 years ago

Hello iriman, for way/1093903107, you added the name as:
"ملعب النجف (النداء)"
but why there is the neighborhood name between parentheses?
If the people call it by the name of the neighborhood then that name should be in loc_name, and the official name only in 'name' tag.

126126047 over 3 years ago

You said "alien alphabet corrected" but ain't Syriac is the mother and spoken language in this area by the Christians?

Hello, I just improved the highway exit.
You can see how I did it in:
https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=126075170
compare it to your edit in:
https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=126006113
Straight highways that you go 140KM/h on should always stay straight. You don't want your navigation app to say "turn slightly to the left and continue on the highway"! Some apps that use OSM data might ignore the link tagging and might consider this a split, that's why it's a critical error.
