Changeset When Comment

Thank you for your comment, but you still didn’t say why did you change the value from secondary to primary. Since these roads are not connecting those neighborhoods or suburbs to others, may I know the reason?

156311576 over 1 year ago

Why did you change the classification of the roads?

Ok, Thank you for answering.
Can you please add good changeset comments to your next changesets?

Nice, now if you want, you can add both relations, Mashriq and Maghrib inside a new region relation called Arab World, more info:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_world

The term "الوطن العربي" (al-Watan al-Arabi) translates to "The Arab Nation" in English. This term refers to the countries where Arabic is the primary language. The Arab Nation is generally divided into two regions: Mashriq al-Arabi and Maghrib al-Arabi.

Mashriq al-Arabi (Eastern Arabia): This region includes Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Yemen, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, and Sudan. Israel and South Sudan are not considered part of this region because they are not Arab states or members of the Arab League.

Maghrib al-Arabi (Western Arabia): This region consists of Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania.

Hello ChrissW-R1, Thank you for your edit, but I have a mention few errors here.
1- You added Israel to be part of the al-Mashriq al-Arabi, but Israel is not part of it as it's not an Arab state.
2-You missed the Gulf countries and Sudan, see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mashriq#/media/File:Map_of_the_Mashriq.png
So Israel shall be removed from the relation and the other Arab countries I mention shall be added.
Regards.
Regards.

Dear mapper, please don't be stubborn, and if it's not the right time for you to discuss, no problem, you can respond later, but when I ask you a question like are you a local mapper? or have you discussed this with the local community first? the least you can do is answer these simple questions. Responding in this way is unprofessional, not cooperative, and not a way to communicate with other mappers.
I will be waiting for you to answer those simple questions.
Regards.

*likely* is not a good reason. You think it *might* change, others think it would not.
We don’t delete objects based on assumptions, if the stocks of a business is crashing, we shall not delete the business from OSM because it might be out of business and closed.
Since those features are not temporary and to stay (based on the statement of the Israeli government who administered the area) and also those features had been for almost a year on the ground.

Any other reasons or arguments?

And are you local? If not, did you contact the local communities first before the deletion?

Regards.

You are the one who deleted it, please provide a reason for the deletion.

So why deleting features that’s on the ground?
I mean I’m ok with deleting temporary objects, but those features gonna be like a 1 year old features on the ground, and those lines has history behind it for tens of years. And the Israeli government stated that those military areas will be buffer zones to stay, so it’s definitely not a temporary objects.
Also, the IDF stated days ago that the military campaign has ended, so it’s not an active campaign area anymore.
Any other reason for the deletion?

iran map 28,
What did you edit here? and why?
What is the imagery you used? is it compatible with OSM license?
Many other mappers has commented on your changesets but you ignored them, please answer them.
I also asked you many times to please use good changeset comment but yet you refuse to do so, this is unprofessional and disrespectful to other mappers.

Please do not add temporarily objects to the map that open for 1, 2 or even 3 weeks, that considered temporarily since it's not open outside that window frame.

Hello ASMapper, Thank you for editing OSM, but please can you explain in the future edits what did you add/changed/removed in the changeset comment so other mappers understand what your edit is without wasting time? as "Syria villages" do not explain what did you do.

Thank you.
