Hi Harry, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I thought about this during the summit while watching the different blocks too. While there is larger work to be done systematically in the entire community to make things safer and more welcoming, I was wondering if we have or would want to create a platform to make a safe space to practice speaking, building confidence and leadership, and getting feedback about communication. One example of a stepping stone to more practice would be the peer led program Toastmasters https://www.toastmasters.org/ which builds in giving both planned and impromptu speeches about rotating topics as well as how to give and receive feedback.
