No worries, might be worth adding a node but i've no idea what you'd use, shop=chandler, shop=marine and even shop=boat all exist but no one seems to use them much,

A single building and building parts might work better, might look into that. 3D tagging isn't so bad, eventually you learn how to see the result from the tags.

I've been there plenty of times, only issue I can see was one overlap, which i've just removed. Hopefully that solves whatever error you're seeing.

Hi, not sure about the layer tag to be honest, I can't remember a specific reason for it. The reason for the three spearate parts is they are different heights and colours. It's part of the 3d tagging.
The layer isn't associated with that but might be because of the underground car park.

Hi, the original intent was to remove the scrub tag from the overall park, since the individual areas were properly marked as well and it put scrub over the carparks and lakes.

I'm certainly no expert but my interpretation of the OSM wiki on the subject is that scrub is generally more grasses and bushes while woods are more trees. Last time I was there it seemed to fit the later description better around the outside areas.

happy for that part to be reverted if my understanding is wrong.

Strange name, can't find a reference to it anywhere else.
Where did the Roo's bypass name come from?

My understanding is that both methods are permissible.
Admittedly when you start adding more detail as you have then tagging the relation does makes more sense.

This seems to have been inverted. Lake Gordon and Pedder are covered in trees while the land is clear.

These are completely inaccurate and break the work that I surveyed recently. They are not motorway ramps but normal at grade intersections. You've also removed the lanes leading onto the road.

Hi, Just a note that i'm updating some of these.
The building tag is used to indicate that the object is a building outline, not that it has a building on it.
In these cases you are tagging the entire block as a building.

I don't remember the freeway having bridges over Smiths Lane.
Will be out that way in a fortnight so will check but I have a feeling it's still connected as an access for surrounding properties.

The source:maxspeed applies to the ways but putting it on every node is overkill.

I think i've found a fix for the moment.

Having it as the inner of the multipolygon and also having riverbank tag confused things.

I've taken off the riverbank and it's rendering properly again.

I've been trying to figure out why some of the islands are flooded and I think i've narrowed it down to this changeset.
Just wondering if you need a hand with fixing them?

If there is an issue with osmand not finding a properly tagged address, i'd raise an issue on their tracker so they can check it out.

Don't worry about the rollback too much. I've already corrected most of them manually including the Vermont and Vermont south admin boundaries.
They should be re-rendered properly shortly.

I'm happy to leave the address data you've added, i'm just taking off the building=yes where is not being applied to a building outline.

38662049 over 9 years ago

If your software requires tagging school ovals, parks and suburbs as buildings, then that is a fault in the software, not a justification for false mapping.

38662049 over 9 years ago

Please stop tagging everything as building=yes.

38663305 over 9 years ago

I've removed the building=yes tag from some of these. This tag applies to actual building outlines only, not to entire properties that have a building on them.

See building=*

Has the road been moved? because if so you should probably move the lake and power lines it now runs across.
