Have a good mapping !

Hi, I've just see you edits.

Where did you find the english name for "곰도" ("곰섬") way/16380436 ?

The US NGA (National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency) absolutely don't use this one : https://www.geonames.org/1867345/kom-do.html (nor the old map from the US Army Map Service : https://maps.lib.utexas.edu/maps/ams/korea_50k/txu-pclmaps-oclc-6612107-sonam-dong-6132-4.jpg, which use "Ung-do").

Did you speak korean ? Did you master romanization ? (McCune-Reischauer Romanization, Revised Romanization of Korean, Yale Romanization, or better Romanization of Korean ?)

Thanks in advance for you answers

It was a mistake I made when adding a tag too quickly with Alt+A on JOSM, I've just fixed it.

Are there any other buildings with this kind of error ? Is there an Osmose error related to this issue?

@Aleksandar Matejevic Above all, whatever apm-wa's opinion, I think we should adopt what apm-wa proposes as a solution.
His knowledge from Turkmenistan is indisputable, he has been in the field (and at what level!) and still updates the wiki pages (osm.wiki/Template:Turkmenistan_topics) so despite my arguments the choice of classification must go to apm-wa

In my opinion because Ashgabat is a "City (şäher) with the status of a province (welaýat)" (as apm-wa write here : osm.wiki/Turkmenistan#Administrative_Subdivisions) it's relevant to tag it at the same level as a province.

I agree with "The relevant fact is that Ashgabat is "equivalent to" a province" and that why I think it's consistent to rank it has the same level (even if it's not the same administrative structure, it's equivalent). So to put it a an equivalent level make sense for me.

Okay, but if the problem is the position why not just move it ?

For this object I've made many improvements. Your revert wasn't just a "correct position" it's was a "correct position and erase all the improvements".
You shouldn't use the revert tools like this, without any discussion, for bad position correction, which is easy to fix without erase any information.

Did you read the CAUTION section of the Revert Plugin ? (osm.wiki/JOSM/Plugins/Reverter)

This requires you to respect a list of behaviour :

* **Do not revert changes by other users without contacting them first in a polite way** and giving them enough time to reply (one week minimum).

* **Do not be tempted to revert early**. When in doubt, **discuss things** on the mailing list before you act.

It was not a choice, I didn't notice that the Bing imagery was a little bit offset. But it didn't answer to my question why did you choose to revert instead of moving the objects ?

Hi, why did you choose to revert my entire changeset instead of moving the object a few metres?

Very good, I love seeing the beautiful details you do 😍, it's so cool !

Personally, I kept mapping, and during early 2024 I did a lot of micromapping in Ashgabat in Turkmenistan osm.org/#map=12/37.9396/58.4122 (zoom on the south, south-west and west). But in recent months, I've been back to NK on South Hwanghae and especially in Pyoksong-Sinchon Counties
