Yeah, none of the residential/residential intersections in the grid between 190th and Robinson and between Aviation and Inglewood has islands, just some of the bigger streets and diagonals. I'll go fix that one now! |

The city redid all the crossings and corners along Grant a couple years ago to slow down right turns and add yellow tactile paving, most with only one curb ramp per corner (with a few exceptions, like the corners at Felton). I've mapped the whole length of the street based on a personal survey. |

In the source field, I've linked to a photo of the whole building that I took from the parking lot (at cloud.hyperborea.org), and to the city's public art web page (at cerritos.gov) which has a view of just the dome and spire. |

| 144645595 | about 2 years ago | Hello! Thanks for improving the map around Temecula! I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to make a couple of suggestions for future mapping. 1. Doors should usually be mapped as part of the wall they go through, and tagged as entrance=yes (or main, or a more specific value if one's appropriate).
I'm not 100% sure what the best way is to label a door leads to, say, a closet, though - maybe "entrance=yes" with "access=private"? 2. The name field should only be used for names, not descriptions. When there's an appropriate tag or tag combination, that's always better than a free-form description, so the fire alarm and door points don't really need the name tags. Thanks again for mapping! |
