Thanks for catching that! I must have just clicked the wrong number of times.

Yeah, none of the residential/residential intersections in the grid between 190th and Robinson and between Aviation and Inglewood has islands, just some of the bigger streets and diagonals.

I'll go fix that one now!

Mapbox is out of date here, and Bing is more current.

The city redid all the crossings and corners along Grant a couple years ago to slow down right turns and add yellow tactile paving, most with only one curb ramp per corner (with a few exceptions, like the corners at Felton). I've mapped the whole length of the street based on a personal survey.

I'm not sure I tagged the circles and dome correctly, especially since they don't contain usable space so building:levels may not be the best way to convey the relative heights.

In the source field, I've linked to a photo of the whole building that I took from the parking lot (at cloud.hyperborea.org), and to the city's public art web page (at cerritos.gov) which has a view of just the dome and spire.

Forgot to add: Surveyed with GPX trace through civic center.

I think at the time I just hadn't found the closer match on the wiki. I'll updated the shop.

Hello! Thanks for improving the map around Temecula! I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to make a couple of suggestions for future mapping.

1. Doors should usually be mapped as part of the wall they go through, and tagged as entrance=yes (or main, or a more specific value if one's appropriate).
entrance=*
door=*

I'm not 100% sure what the best way is to label a door leads to, say, a closet, though - maybe "entrance=yes" with "access=private"?

2. The name field should only be used for names, not descriptions. When there's an appropriate tag or tag combination, that's always better than a free-form description, so the fire alarm and door points don't really need the name tags.

name=*

Thanks again for mapping!

Oops! Thanks, fixing that now!
