Eastern Island, New Jersey, and Cayman Island
Posted by Julio_Costa_Zambelli on 24 September 2008 in English.As I wrote a few days ago, the Eastern Island coastline is not rendering right, the same problem with part of the New Jersey Coast line was solved during last night render. I don't know why but Cayman Island is also having the same issue.
It would be really nice if one of the more skilled editors can take a look at it. Thanks in advance.

Looks fine to me and shows up correctly in the coastline viewer: http://tile.openstreetmap.nl/coastlines.html?zoom=10&lat=-27.1141872426379&lon=-109.3666460604&layers=B00T It should render properly the next time the coastline is imported.

It is really strange, but both Eastern Island and Cayman Island look fine in that coastline viewer, but both didn't render well during this weeks Mapnik render.
I really can't figure out what's wrong with them. A theory that I am considering right now, based on the observation of how often the renders include some changes that I have made in the past to the coastline around my area, is that coastline are not rendered (at least not completely) in every weeks Mapniks render.
I guess we will be able to see in next weeks mapnik render.
