Some time during the weekend before the FOSS4G conference there is going to be a mapping party in Sydney, so far it seems to be the first one in Sydney.

Cool,
Although i cant make it, i might go to Sidney, BC that day as there is a mini-opera house (band shell) that needs to be mapped. And i'll try walking-papers.org as i think i'll be able to connect with other local area mappers for it.

Lovely, I should be able to attend :)
If we know where the FOSS4G conference is, we can micromap that area to add lots more detail to it beforehand.
