This is No 7 Little Mead and not No 1 as shown.
I think 1, 3, 5 and 7 should be reversed.

Speed limit tags need finalising. When I did the initial survey visit the western and eastern roundabout access had 20 signs on them. When I went back today to check a few things I went in using the centre roundabout and it has a 30 sign (where this note marker is). The western signs were wrapped in black plastic and the eastern ones removed. There is a temporary 20 sign on the Crannaford Lane access. A bit of research reveals that the residents with town council support are pushing for a 20 limit so the maxspeed tags may need updating if they don't get their way.

As per mapnote I placed to the west, on the "middle" roundabout Cranbrook access; turning in to here there is no speed limit sign so in law you're perfectly entitled to do 40 mph through this estate (if you're feeling suicidal!). I expect the situation with Cranbrook will be writ here, too - council going for urban limit 30mph and residents agitating for 20mph. Given the tightness of the street layout it's not sensible/viable to go at more than 20mph so have tagged for maxspeed=20mph in anticipation of logical sense prevailing. Local mappers should monitor progress and update when it is settled. I've searched online for Traffic Orders setting the limit but drawn a blank for this development.
