OpenStreetMap
I am designing scenery for Flight Simulator X and would like to have use of the coastlines of Jamaica. This scenery is to be freeware uploaded to Avsim.com for free download. I have already done the Caymans and the airports of Jamaica are done. I just need the coastlines and rivers. This would save me a lot of time.

OK ..... I can abide by that. There usually is a READ_ME with the scenery.

CloudMade have an extract that you can download OSM data for Jamaica at http://downloads.cloudmade.com/north_america/jamaica
They have similar extracts all over the world.
As I do not know what data type you want this in I can not help you converting it into a format that FSX understands. You could try the shapefiles as this is a widely supported file type that is a common standard for map data outside of OSM.

I have been there and have the SHP files for the south coastline. I would like to have the north. I have opened the SHP files in that zip and looked at them and can convert the SHP data into a file I can use ......... I think.
