In terms of advertising, that is a good question... I do not think I have any good suggestions... |

over 6 years ago | Hi Juang_64, no worries! I have not done reverts myself so Ill ask that another member please revert this changeset. Then feel free to add in your POIs as polys or points here. If there is no response in about a week Ill go ahead and try to fix it.
over 6 years ago | Hi Juang_64, looks like this change deleted a proper building polygon. When adding shops to existing buildings in OSM it is best practice to not split a building into smaller building parts to place shops in. Instead you should keep the larger building outline as is (because it represents the actual structure) and you could add polygons for the shops without a building tag. Otherwise a simple node for poi would also suffice. Can you please revert your edit to the building: way/211359643 and make this change?
over 6 years ago | Hi jmapb - thanks for the message. Technically these are two building parts with different building:levels so you are right it should just be one building but with multiple parts. I just fixed it and retagged the inner building as a building:part and made a new outer building:part to reflect the two parts of the structure: changeset/69363085 hope that answers the question...
almost 7 years ago | Hi Magnacustos, I noticed you may have inadvertently removed the historic:building tag on The Tilley Lofts building. That structure is listed as a historic place by the NPS so that tag is valid. I have added it back but just wanted to give you a heads up. Happy mapping!
over 7 years ago | Hi stadiaarcadia, if they are not indoors then dont use the indoor tags. I am not familiar with those areas you posted, I only took a quick look so its up to your judgement on whats there if you know the area.
over 7 years ago | Thank you pangoSE and stadiaarcadia, the fix looks good! Thanks again. stadiaarcadia regarding the fixes to those notes you have there I am not a expert in that geography so I cant help but for some of them it seems to me you want to create fields inside of buildings? Suggest you create the pitch inside if you know where it is and tag as indoor using indoor=yes with the level of the floor as for example level=1. See indoor tagging on osm here: osm.wiki/Simple_Indoor_Tagging. It is important to leave tags from other users including the building=yes tag if its up to date.
over 7 years ago | Hi stadiaarcadia, your changeset has deleted valid data located here for the Key Bank Center. Your deletion includes valid tags for the center and building outlines. Can you please revert your changeset and then apply any changes you wanted to make?
over 7 years ago | Sorry, thank you for the correction! Next time will do.
over 7 years ago | Awesome thanks sounds good! Happy mapping!
over 7 years ago | Hi ploebus! I think you may have inadvertently deleted the building=yes tag on this way. Can you add back the missing building=yes tag to this building outline?
over 7 years ago | Hi CentralTreeMapper! I think you may have added a duplicate POI. There is already a Whole Foods POI here tagged as a supermarket. Did you intend on adding this duplicate POI?
over 7 years ago | Hello! I see you have added a height for this building at 102. The building already has building:parts that have heights set at the towers which look correct. Can you change the tag for this to accommodate the 3D tagging of these building parts or otherwise remove the building height tag you placed?
over 7 years ago | Hello! I see you have added a height for this building at 100. The building already has building:parts that have heights set at the towers which look like they are set at 81. Can you change the tag for this to accommodate the 3D tagging of these building parts or otherwise remove the building height tag you placed?
over 7 years ago | Hello! I see you added a height value of 119 for this building. OSM needs heights in m not ft. If this 119 is in m this is incorrect as this is only a 5 story building. If this is in ft then please convert this to m and update the tag to say 36.
almost 8 years ago | Hi sachinv, this section of roadway is not yet open to the public - bing imagery is old, the road is complete but access has not yet been restored and is inaccessible to vehicles and bike/peds. Please set this section of roadway to `construction:secondary` until its open.
almost 9 years ago | Oops so sorry my mistake on the missing letter I will double check and fix all them next week. Thanks for letting me know.
almost 9 years ago | Hello Anthony, thank you for your edits. I noticed you may have inadvertently deleted multiple lines in the medical center here. These lines are not duplicates, rather they denote building parts for 3D building tagging with height information. Could you please revert the changes in this edit related the polygons tagged building:part?
