Ok I understand tagging for renderer is a bad practice. But I think is not the case here. Note that this was tagged as railway=funicular since 7 years ago and was "corrected" 2 months ago by user Telegram Sam, when stopped rendering. Is just a matter of technical definition. Is reasonable to think this as funicular.
There are other similar cases in this city. I suggest we tag as railway=funicular for a while and discuss this problem in some other place. Maybe propose a rendering for inclined elevator or a sub tag for railway funicular.
