Hi, welcome to OSM! I noticed that you're a new mapper, and wanted to complement you on some good edits. There is one thing you could do better, though, and that is to connect your paths to roads, where appropriate. For example, this node node/5369335265 could be pulled farther west and connect to Alameda Street East Barrel. That way, routing software can actually transition from the road to the path, and vice versa (for pedestrians).

Again, welcome to OSM and happy mapping!

Actually, I do have one more comment. When making additions or deletions or changes on OSM, be sure to update your changeset comment to something relevant for that particular set of edits. All 3 of yours say "Entrance fountain" but only 1 adds fountains.

Hi, and welcome to OSM. I noticed you added some new features, and wanted to offer some helpful advice, especially with respect to footpaths. When adding one, always be sure to connect it to the road it leads to. That way, routing software can actually navigate a pedestrian onto or off of the path.

Other than that, your new edits look pretty good, and I wanted to complement you on the quality, especially paying attention to the roundness of the fountains.

Happy mapping!

Hi, Odins_fury, welcome to OSM! We are happy that you've decided to join and start editing. But... while there are 2 Pokestops back here (not counting the one by the Brazilian restaurant at the street), there is no fountain here. Can I ask why you added this?

Very much a typo. Thanks for pointing it out, although it looks like someone else has already fixed that one. I did find another typo of mine, that I've corrected.

Yes, I did. Apparently I missed seeing hov:minimum in the wiki. I'll get it changed.

It is. The press conference I just saw says the closures will be even more extensive than I thought. Updating OSM accordingly, but this is a traffic disaster.

Actually, I should qualify that to say that I'm not sure if the road I see connecting is that one, or an undrawn service road into a business located there. Upon reflection, I'm going to hold off making a change until I get through the area again. (Just speaking from experience with rerouted roads like this, it would not be unusual for the old GA 20 section to be left unconnected to the new route.)

Hi Ginaro, I was having a hard time determining for certain, since my eyes were bouncing around between the road, the other cars, OsmAnd on my phone, and the general scenery. When I was working on the edits, I didn't think that it connected, but now that I've had time to review my Mapillary sequences, it looks like it does. I'll make appropriate edits using my best approximation of the connection point, and then try to get some GPS traces in a couple of weeks when I'm back in that area.
