There are a couple of ways with invalid values The value for building:part=1 should be building:part=yes. But these are not mapped inside a building. Are they supposed to be building=yes?

The map has been updated. You are seeing the tile cache. It can take days to a week for the tile cache to be updated.

I used barrier=fence and fence_type=*. If barrier=fence should be a separate way, please let me know.

On a side note, I'm unsure where the gate would be. Otherwise I would add that.

Hey, GA_Kevin, here is another. I'll let you fix since I don't know much about mapping these. node/12944743366

I am guessing you are wondering why the parking lot does not have a name. If so, take a look at osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only

Tagging with operator=* is helpful. It is very helpful when access=private or access=customers is used. Then it is easy to identify which business it is for.

Thanks for catching that. I caught a few like that but looks like this one slipped by. Also, I came across a few of these that were on the map as parking spaces but when I looked, they were not in a parking area. So some were just switched to parking lots since they were small little "lots" like this one that were off on their own.

Hello. Thanks for your edits. I notice you have been giving sidewalks descriptive names. For example Warnsley Road Sidewalk (way/1418174083) should not have a name. All of the other tags you gave it are correct. More info on names can be found in the wiki osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only

Thanks for the edits. There are a couple of nodes you added on top of existing businesses. Instead of adding a node, it is best to change the information on the existing building or node. I have removed those nodes and made updates to the pre-existing data.

Thanks for your edits. Please take a look at Names in the wiki. Specifically the "Name is the name only" section (osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only). I noticed there are many parking lots that are descriptive names where ref=* is all that is needed.

Welcome to OSM. Please take a look at the wiki about how to map gas stations. It looks like you tagged the convenience store as a gas station (amenity=fuel). Basically, most gas stations in the US have a gas station (roof where the pumps are) and a convenience store (where you can go in and pay for gas/buy stuff).

Welcome to OSM. Thanks for your edits. It will be much more helpful if you leave a description of what you edited. Here are some examples:

"Added a business"
"Updated business information"
"Updated road names"

Thanks again for editing. :-)

Thanks for the heads up and thanks for fixing.

Disregard about errors. I thought there were errors because JOSM was saying there were problems with the relations. After looking in iD editor, it looks fine.

Thanks for the input. The change was made after reading the wiki (colour=*#Colour_names), where it talked about how colour=* is also used for other things that get a color associated with it. For example the colour typically associated with a public transportation route.

I merged another duplicate node to a pre existing way (relation/17869907). I have stumbled across quite a few of these now.

Thanks for the edit. There are multiple schools here. So the school area should not have a name. See amenity=school#Multiple_schools_on_one_site

I have fixed it.

I stumbled across a misplaced node (node/12896993299) from this changeset. It is sitting on top of a building.

Merged and deleted another duplicate node (node/12944744086) not sure how many more there are in your import. On large changes there is likely going to be some conflicts like this. If you haven't already, be sure to consult the community (https://community.openstreetmap.org/) before large updates like this. Sometimes they will think of some helpful ideas.

Also, all of the nodes I have come across need tags updated to operator=Tesla (instead of Tesla, Inc.).

I have reverted the edit (changeset/168331594) and set access=private until we can get some more details.

BC720, sorry for the trouble. We are glad to help with getting this mapped correctly. We just need to know a little more info about this road. For example, is it abandoned or is it on private property now? Are there signs at either end of the road? Any of that info will be helpful.

Came here to say the same thing. Should we revert the edit and update tags?
