Hallo SachsensWege

Hi Polina
Thanks for the open and detailed communication and for keeping things up to date and being forthcoming in dealing with issues. Appreciate it a lot.

Have a nappy day, Christian

Hi
has the junction really been that heavily modified? In Bing Aerial Images it's still visible with the separate turn lanes. What proietary source did you use and is it even compatible with OSM licence?

If that's the case, than check out the turn restrictions. There seem to be a few broken left over ones: https://ahorn.lima-city.de/tr/?zoom=19&lat=39.770598&lon=-104.971619&layer=Grayscale&overlays=FTT

Sorry just noticed that the leisure=commons tagging is much older.

Hi
I just took a look at your change. Looks quite good. There is one point that's a little off but overall a big improvement.
The whole area still needs some work so I hope to see you keep on imporving the map

Thanks Christian

Hi
it seems like you accidentally used highway=unclassfied instead of highway=service for the parking aisle.

Hi
welcome to OSM
I stumbled across your changes because a quality assurance tool noticed that some ways were crossing (https://osmcha.org/changesets/111343296)
You accidentally moved two points leading to the issue. (I already fixed it)
Keep an eye out for warnings the editor shows when you try to upload your changes.

Another thing I noticed is that you used the tag leisure=commons. It seems like this tag is disputed. You can see some infos about it here (leisure=common) and see if something else might fit better.

Thanks for mapping. Feel free to ask if you have questions.

I'd suggest splitting up 5th Ave between Denny Way and Olive Way. That's from what I can see is where the pillars separate the lanes. Technically you only partially have a physical separation but combined with the being prohibited to cross the line, it should be sufficient to declare it two independent roadways.
I'm familiar with turn restrictions and other relations and the street level imagery (Mapillar) is really good. So I could do it from afar if no one else wants to.
I saw you are/were part of the Seattle OSM Group. Could you asked them about my suggestion. I don't wanna cause an edit war. =)

Hi
I just stumbled across this interesting piece of road in a video (https://youtu.be/at6pjzFKfzs?t=1320)
I saw someone attempted to split the road into two seperate ones. I think it would make sense here because they are physically separated (pillars of the monorail)
Don't you think this would be closer to reality and also help with navigation?

Cheers Christian

Awesome
Thank you very much.
Found a piece of road right at the end of the road and the bridge that still had the wrong classifiaction and did some minor realignment according to gpx and aerial images
Should be good to go now.
Happy mapping

Hi Kevin
I think having Ophir Pass Road as highway=tertiary_link is not correct. In general _links are not meant for the whole road. They are meant for things like on and off ramps, connecting the highway with said classification to another roadway.
The highway classification in the US has been interpreted differently from most of the rest of the world and has some inconsistencies even in the documentation in the wiki.
What do you think, since this road isn't connecting settlements and probably has a minor importance in the road network, she we rather tag it as highway=unclassfied.
I found this because the bridge across Mineral creek to the north, still is tagged as highway=track which caused BRouter to throw a portential error.

Hi
great additions to the map.
On small thing I noticed. If you have a sidewalk/path that leads up to a road, you have to extend it to the road line. This way routing will be possible.

Happy mapping
