We're going to canning town tonight. Quite a lot of people have signed up for this, so should be a good one. Anyone else fancy coming along?
We don't know the name of the pub we're going to yet, which is all very mysterious (just know where it is). I imagine it will be a pleasant place by the docks. But then again they'll be a planes landing over head.
Hopefully I'll have to time to pop over to the riverfront and take a look at the Thames barrier. Never seen it close up.

The pub is a bar/restaurant called Caribbean Scene, it's situated at a really nice spot too. The high rise flats and hotels next to Excel are at the nicest location in the area. The other pubs are really quite rough, which is why I thought it better to find somewhere where GPS units could be wielded without being nicked :-)
Sorry about the delay. I walk past the bar frequently, but had not yet written down its name. That will teach me.
I'll be the large overweight chap with a bright yellow Garmin GPS 60 BTW

I'm a little suspicious of the yahoo imagery in my slice number 18 of the cake. Is it really still industrial wasteland here on the riverfront? Oh well... soon find out!
