ID is what I generally use to clean up after maps.me. How do I access or apply such “standard profiles”?

Must have been a major GPS error at that time. I moved it to a white spot in the aerial that is _probably_ the correct location.

Oh, OK. I thought you were saying the place (not the tag) was "still Taco Bell." Yes, I often look again when I can get online. Maps.me sucks, but for a long time it was all I had when away from the house. Now I also have GoMaps which is better, but the day I did that one, GoMaps was crashing. And then I was without anything for two-days-plus camping.

Taco Time and Taco Bell are completely independent of one another. This is clearly Taco Time unless Taco Bell just bought it and hasn't changed the signs.

It isn't Taco Bell. That's why I changed it. "Taco Time" IS the name.

Super; thanks!

But I don’t understand how it has both names; when I did the edit, the tag list shown to me had no names.

Yes, the are two named neighborhoods. I did not see that they had been mapped as one. Not sure how to split it.

Those won't work "on location." I use ID to fix the errors when I return home. I may install JOSM one of these days.

Thanks. I'm new at this; much to learn.

I accidentally created a copy of the Willamette Wellfield fence with “map.me” which has always before let me delete things. This time it wouldn’t. So I selected it on Go Map, which has also previously let me delete things that don’t exist, but not this time. So I added that “please delete” comment to it. Finally, I selected it in the “ID” web based editor, and that doesn’t have a delete that I can find!!

I don’t get it. I selected ONE item that doesn’t exist, moved it to make a change and sent that. SO, the item that should be deleted is the only item sent in. Or am I using an app that sends things I did not select?

I don't know what's going on here. This doesn't look like what I was trying to do: indicate that there is a bridge here.

70839642 over 6 years ago

Also, the bridge isn’t really an attraction, but the app didn’t offer any acceptable choices on its menu.

The buildings south of that intersection are a storage facility. The fire hydrant is less than two meters from the street. The app I was using, “maps.me” has a bug in that it sometimes reports a location twenty to fifty meters south of what I actually entered. If you are able to move it straight north to 1.5 to 2 meters from the curb, that would be pretty close. I can go back over there later this week and tweak the location a little.

I’m looking for a better app. I think I have one, though it has other issues.

60715727 over 7 years ago

You are correct. Unfortunately, this app “maps.me” does not support doing so. I have to pick something from it’s menu to be corrected later.

I think it very likely that the bank has a name, but I have been in five other countries since last January. Therefore, I cannot tell you the name.
我認為該銀行很可能有一個名字,但自去年1月以來我一直在其他五個國家。 因此,我不能告訴你這個名字。

I believe I dropped the point inaccurately. Closer (but not exact) is 35°32′25.46″N 97°27′30.43″W and the name in Google is Church of the Harvest.

That would work, I presume. My IOS app limits me to selecting from a menu that doesn’t include a lot of sensible terms that I know exist (because the app _does_ show them).
