I haven't traveled out here in winter. Would this be a candidate for attribute, ice_road=yes?
ice_road=*

where are these trail names coming from?

Open Street Map naming conventions are to stay close to what is used by people on the ground. While this name is specific, it would be closer to use the generalized Brown Jug since very few folk would know it's #251 or say Muldoon after it.

There was an unmarked way (1169132036) that was created that I removed because it had no attributes and looked like it was a mis-click.

Sorry, how is this spam? Is this not a real location for the service?

Can you provide more information? This is a large change that has not been fully explained. Removing an entire joint military base is huge.

I've got no dog in the fight but it does show up on the USBRS website as a designated route.

I don't think the pedestrian crossing exists here.

Please double check that you are using the most up to date imagery. For way #1149211738, a forest, there has been housing development. I did not check your other edits.

They are. Let's not let perfection be the enemy of progress.

And I agree with you on the removing the naming from things that aren't de facto names.

I'd cut it from what it was before to "Sand Lake has a vibrant neighborhood program and is home to the Japanese Immersion Program."

When you cut the whole description you lose important local context even if there is some fluff attached.
