Vorsicht, Bilder können auch mal daneben sein. Verschiebe nicht blindlinks die Arbeit anderer Mapper. Möglicherweise haben sie mit wiederholtem GPS-Tracking eine gute Genauigkeit erreicht.

It's not GPS that's at fault here. It is bad and/or outdated maps. GPS just can pinpoint your location. Maps decide the rest.

(I guess "GPS" is simply the term for "GPS-based routing" nowadays?)

From my experience one track is no track. Once you did the same walk several times you will notice how far off GPS can be. The more the merrier, the more the better you can find the golden average.

This seems like a fantastic tool. I run it on Archlinux and it does not show any POIs though. And now I managed to make it try to download tiles with an negative index. Deleted the working directory but it still does.

I would be up for translating it to German, are you one of the developers?
