It really helps to let the GPS "find itself" by letting it rest in a stationary place. Getting the position and good satellite reception is much faster than when in motion.

For writing a post that hard to understand, you sure have a weird attitude when it comes to reading documentation and tutorials.

Wonderful animation, I love how OSMers always seem to take the shortest way diagonally through (unless surveying).

Click on the + sign on the right of the map. There you can switch the layers. Mapnik is the "official" OSM rendering. Earlier it was only updated once a week, recently it has become much faster (1-5 hours sounds alright).

One very important feature that is missing would be a timestamp.

Bug: After marking a bug fixed the "bubble" hangs (Opera on Linux). Whatever I do, refresh or permalink, it is broken. It's somewhat hard to describe so I won't. If you cannot reproduce it send me a message and I will do a better explanation.

Wozu brauchst du denn so ein großes Gebiet im Editor? Wäre vielleicht ein osm.wiki/Import eher angebracht?

Soweit ich weiß, werden bei Potlatch (dem Onlineeditor in Flash) Änderungen unmittelbar gespeichert.

Das ist ja ganz schön fies von dir. Das arme GPS muss laufen... Nimm es doch wenigstens ab und zu mal mit auf's Rad.
