When mapping buildings, please trace the shape accurately. Accurate building footpritns aid population estimates and prevent issues like data overlaps. Zoom in so that you can see the outline of the building and mark the corners carefully. Exclude shadows and yards when tracing the footprint. Keep in mind that you are looking at the roofs of buildings, but mapping their footprints. Depending on how the scene is lit, pitched roofs may have light and dark sections that belong to one building. Generally pitched roofs overhang the walls of a building, so a footprint slightly smaller than the roof is accurate. You can scale selected features in ID with shift+(-/+), or JOSM with ctrl.+alt+Lclick & drag. Take care to make contributions that others can build upon. Please keep this feedback in mind when contributing in future. Thank you for your contribution.

Hi, you identified buildings in the imagery and distinguished between square and round footpritns, well done. You have however mapped the square buildings with very unique and complex shapes After mapping buildings, please remember to square their corners. Most buildings have square corners because that's easy to build. Unless the building is clearly a different shape then it's best to assume that the corners should be squared. In the iD Editor, use the `Q` key to square the corners. This [video about squaring features](https://youtu.be/Xs5wX592E1o) has more information and a guide.

You used Bing to map the buildings in the West here meaning that they were not properly aligned with others. I advocate for using mltiple sources where it helps, but I recommend aligning the sources you use before mapping for the best results. I moved the footprints into alignment.

The footpritns I flagged here are oversized becasue the shadow cast by the building has been included in the shape of the footprint. I think the Southern footprint you added here is most accurate. All but the footprint I flagged here represent buildings and are appropriately squared but could be more accurate.

You maped valid and accurate footprints here. The NE footprint would have been more accurate if it were slightly smaller. The SW one is pretty much mapped as well as the imagery allows. Hi you identified buildings in the imagery here but they are square; not round. Round buildings cast a rounded shadow not straight lines. Hi, you did a good job differentiating between round and square buildings here. Some of the footprints could be smaller. You can scale selected features in ID with shift+(-/+). The square footprints should have been squared with q. I flagged one footprint which likely represents temporal yurts and should not be mapped, because it won't be there for long; I deleted it. Hi AnaƩ, generally you are identifying buildings in the imagery but the footprints I flagged envelope multiple buildings. Each footprint should represent one builsing. This is not a building but a tower; you can tell because of the long shadow it casts to the NW. The eastern most footprint here is both valid and accurate, well mapped. Please map like that in future. I flagged some temporal yurts which should not be mapped as they will likely not be there for long.

The middle footprint you mapped here is fairly accurate and has been appropriately squared, though it is actually G shaped. Please do not snap the corners of the buildings to other buildings or features such as roads and paths. In the iD Editor, hold down the `Alt` key to keep nodes from snapping to other objects and accidentally connecting. HI you are generally identifying buildings in the imagery but please do not tag individual buildings as residential areas. Instead use the tag building=yes for building footprints.

Hi, do not apply layer tags to features to resolve overlapping data issues. In this case the layer=-1 tag implies that the highway is underground.
