Yes these deletions were intentionals. Our organization is in charge of the protection of this vast natural area. The sector where we deleted several ways is property of a farmer we work with, and he has encountered difficulties with visitors scaring the livestock.
Moreover, this region is home to a unique biodiversity and some areas have restricted access in order to avoid human disturbance (vultures, golden eagle ...)
