| 131973033 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: Sometimes using more than one imagery source will help with adding features. For example the Tapteal Elementary School. The bing imagery is taken at an angle. The maxar premium imagery is almost directly overhead showing a square bldg. Different background imagery can be found on the right hand side of the editor with the background icon.

| 131949080 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: Descriptive names are not needed when tagged. One example - name=Dock along with man_made-pier.

| 131947821 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: Save and upload your edits before moving on to a distant location. It makes it easier to review edits and find ones you may want to revisit.

| 131944647 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: it is helpful to add amenity=place_of_worship to the Jehovah's building. See religion=* for more info
| 131943780 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: it is helpful to add the type of business the Pawn Fathers is. I assume a pawn shop which would be shop=pawnbroker. See shop=pawnbroker for more info

| 131942673 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: square buildings by just selecting the outline then type a "q"
| 131945070 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: you can combine nodes with areas by selecting both then right click and select the "+" icon.
| 131909861 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: when adding a store to a strip mall, just use a node for the business instead of an area/polygon.
| 131909861 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: Square buildings by selecting the outline then just type a "q". Also - the foot path you added doesn't seem to match the imagery and looks like it accidentally dragged part of the residential landuse. Can you review this edit?

| 131904965 | almost 3 years ago | If the building is still standing, just remove all but the address tags. Hopefully a business will take over the space and having the building and address left will simplify adding the new business.
| 131904489 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: phone numbers should be entered with a country code, for example +1 509-736-2720
| 131902915 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: Street names are spelled out in OSM. The reason is that software has a hard time unabbreviating.
| 131825741 | almost 3 years ago | landuse=forest implies that this area is logged - not something that usually happens inside a city. Can you review this edit?
| 131748149 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: When adding a single address to a building, just select the building then fill in the address information for that building.
| 131690404 | almost 3 years ago | I would revert to the former status - which I conclude is unknown. There is Kartaview imagery but it was taken on a rainy day which makes finding detail difficult. |
| 131717940 | almost 3 years ago | #TIP: In OSM a path is what we in the US call a trail. A paved path should be called a footway. Because OSM was founded in England, we use British English terms for tags which can be confusing. Can you review your edit and update the paths to footways if that seem correct? Thanks I'll send more info on OSM in a message

| 131739500 | almost 3 years ago | Thank you for your edit. I reviewed your work and it looks good. I went ahead and added kerb and tactile pads for the crosswalks but that shouldn't impact routing. If you are using one of the OSM routers it likely that they haven't been refreshed with the latest edits. That can take a week.

| 131708049 | almost 3 years ago | i agree that these crossings should be removed. There is legal marked crossing just a short distance away. Rainier Ave is a busy primary street. Please do not revert this changeset
| 131673280 | almost 3 years ago | I noticed you've changed the name on a number of GNIS nodes. When I look the id up in GNIS they all show the original name. Can you explain why you changed the name?
| 131690404 | almost 3 years ago | Where did you get your information to add the culvert and ford to the stream?
