Using your image I changed the building=no area to highway=pedestrian since that's what it looks like. and added an info board in the center. Feel free to revert if it's not what you think it should be. Also added a fixme to align when new imagery is available.

One suggestion - square the houses by selecting the outline then either type an "s" or right click and use the square icon. The houses will look much nicer.

I'm trying to figure out what the purpose of adding way/549904122, and admin_level 8 admin boundary. It doesn't connect to anything and doesn't seem to be a part of a relation. This came up from a JOSM validation error while I was cleaning up old TIGER roads. Do you remember what you were doing then?

FYI - You could have changed from service=alley to service=driveway instead of deleting that portion that was incorrect.

Buildings should be tagged building=yes or if you have knowledge of the building you can be more detailed, like building=apartments, house,residential, garage, or numerous others. Area isn't a very useful tag. Can you fix it or do you need help.

Shouldn't the highway=unclassified you added around McDonalds really be a highway=service? I went ahead and changed it to service

From the imagery - this looks like a valid sidewalk. Why did you delete it? While not in this area, OSM is involved with mapping sidewalks to help people with limited mobility. They are an import part of what we do. Please help me understand.

I understand better now. From what you describe on East Spruce, the one removed, it is really a private drive way shared by what looks like four houses. Is that correct? What we normally do is show a driveway with access=private to prevent people from going down the road. If you allow deliveries, it could be changed to access=destination. That would allow gps to take people going to visit or for a delivery to use the driveway.

I removed the node - it was placed in the middle of an intersection with no other tags than amenity=school.

I changed the road next to the chamber's building to a service road. unclassified is mostly used in rural unincorporated areas.

The imagery shows the street continuing. If it's private you can use the access=private. You can also add the gate as a node on the street.

I also have a question about East Pine Street. The state thinks that East Pine Street turns into East Spruce on the east side of East Port Townsend Street. Can you confirm what is the correct street name? Thanks.

You can square the buildings in iD by either selecting the outline and type "s" or right click on the building outline and selecting the square icon. Building look much better if they are squared.

Its actually a city road. I added a name and changed it to a residential road.
