| 146299124 | almost 2 years ago | Thank you for your edit. I reviewed your work and it looks good. One suggestion, square the buildings by selecting the outline then just type a "q" - they'll look professionally done.

| 146299400 | almost 2 years ago | Thank you for your edit. I reviewed your work and it looks good. #TIP: make sure to follow the roof outline but watch out for shadows and parts obscured by trees. Also, you can square the building by just selecting the outline then type a "q". They will look much more professionally done.

| 146255163 | almost 2 years ago | take a look at leisure=golf_coursen for how to use multipolygons to add areas of a course. Let me know if you have any questions. I'll send you more info on OSM in a message.

| 146158027 | almost 2 years ago | I think the road classification is correct, unclassified, but I'm concerned about the access=private. Are there signs posted to limit access to the road? If so, then access=private would be correct. Do you mean to show the road is privately owned and maintained? Then use operator= or ownership=private. Let me know if you have any questions or need help.

| 146003922 | almost 2 years ago | The county has this trail shown on their parcel viewer. Also, you changed it from a footway, which I agree it most likely isn't, to a track, but then said motor vehicles are not allowed. That seems to be a contradiction. I would probably tag this as highway=path, which in the US we call a trail. OSM was started in England so we use their road classification system and British English for tags.

| 146004135 | almost 2 years ago | #TIP: privately owned road can be tagged with osm.wiki/Tag:operator=. Access=private should only be used if there is signage restricting use or possibly a gate. Can you review this edit?

| 145822678 | almost 2 years ago | The county isn't showing a road going to the new houses. I think what you have is a driveway which is tagged as highway=service + service=driveway. I'll send you more info on OSM in a message. If you have any question, just ask. I'm happy to help

| 145818235 | almost 2 years ago | Since the HOA owns the shared alley the road can be tagged with operator=(the HOA name). Since the HOA owns the service road that means any resident can use the road. BTW - I live in a HOA with some HOA owned roads. Those roads are open to the public, not just the homeowners. In your case, if a delivery is to be made to one of the houses serviced by the private road, the delivery driver can use it. So can guests. I would recommend adding the operator tag and removing the access tag since there is not signage restricting use. |
| 145818235 | almost 2 years ago | Can you clarify what you mean by private?

| 145717537 | almost 2 years ago | I live in Mount Vernon and I do recall that Polson Road is paved. Not sure about the quality. At times right after the farmers have driven their tractors on them, they do look like dirt

| 145639079 | almost 2 years ago | I changed the alley back to a service road. Alleys are service roads in OSM. We use Englands road classifications since OSM was started in England. (As well as British English spellings. For example what we call a curb is a kerb in British English). See highway=* for more information on tagging highways. I also removed the private access tags. These may be privately maintained, but anyone can use the road unless it is marked. From street level imagery it doesn't appear to be marked as a private road. See access=* for more information on use of the access key. I'll send you more info on OSM in a message. Please reach out if you think I'm wrong.

| 145629142 | almost 2 years ago | I reverted this changeset since it removed the building part tag. Buildings can be part of a complex design that uses multiple parts to complete. This is one of those. As far as I can tell, there are three building parts, a base and two towers. As nickswalker mention, to add the bike shop, just add a node where they exist with and address, unit number and other goodies like website, phone number and hours of operation.
