Another user restored the driveways you deleted. In OSM if a feature is verifiable it can be included in the database. Tagging it as private stops routers from using the road. Let me know if you have any questions. I'll send you more info on OSM in a DM

From what I understand, these roads are privately owned but not marked as no trespassing or something similar. For privately owned roads that are not marked, the access tag should be access=permissive. See access=*

Please review this edit. Let me know if you have any questions.

To split the street, select the street and while holding down the shift key, select the node where you want to split the way. The right click and select the scissors to split the way. Then you can update the relation tags for the bus route you want to change. Let me know if you need help. I usually do most of my editing using the JOSM editor which makes editing transit routes easier. But JOSM has a somewhat higher learning curve. (At least for me). You can also reach out for help on Slack, osmus.slack.com to join.

Thanks for getting back to me. OSM does map difficult trails using a sac_scale. See sac_scale=*

I understand that someone with little or no experience shouldn't be using difficult trails. Those trails should be tagged accordingly. Removing the trails just invites someone else to add them back. Especially those with Strava heatmaps. At least one of the trails removed, claimed they used Strava heatmaps to align the trail.

Why are you deleting these trails? Cleaning doesn't help us understand what you are trying to accomplish.

Why are they appropriate for public trails?

Again why remove the multipolygons?

Why did you remove the hole ways? These are legitimate features for golf courses? See leisure=golf_course

This app requires that I review everything as good or bad. There is no in between. When I mark it as bad, it may only be that it doesn't fit the OSM tagging scheme. I'll leave a changeset comment with what I found.

You make a good point about it being completely gone. Tagging something abandoned or razed works really well with streets, buildings and railways but in this case I agree it should be restored. I have restored your edit. Thanks again. Let me know if you have any questions on OSM that I can help with.

138767723 over 2 years ago

The pervious editor tagged the trail as abandoned. By doing so, it keeps people from adding it back because they see some remnants of the trail.

I'm going to revert this edit to keep those tags. Let me know if you have any questions.

There seems to be two Tulare Lakes polygons. I may be mistaken but if you search for the lake, two names appear.

Tacoma Avenue was already tagged with a bike lane. See osm.wiki/Bicycle for help with mapping bike lanes.

From the imagery, I'd map the bike lanes as attributes of the street. If they are separated then I'd add them as separate ways.

Where I live there aren't many bike lanes so I don't do much bike mapping. A better place to ask is on Slack. We have a number of active cyclists there.

Thank you for your edit. I reviewed your work and it looks good.

I typically don't connect parking lots to buildings since they usually don't connect. But it's a minor issue.

Please review your edits to make sure sidewalks and roads are connected when they intersect. I got as many as I could find, but may have missed some. It's is import to do otherwise routers can't function properly. I'll send you more info on OSM in a message.
