I think you can simplify the crossing by just tagging it as footway=crossing, crossing=traffic_signal and crossing:markings=zebra. The tag tactile_paving is usually added to the curb (kerb in OSM) as a node. Adding tactile_paving to the crossing implies that the entire crossing is a tactile pad. Can you review this edit? This app requires that I review everything as good or bad. There is no in between. When I mark it as bad, it may only be that it doesn't fit the OSM tagging scheme. I'll leave a changeset comment with what I found.

I tend to tag them as highway=residential. Where I live there are some HOA roads that could have an operator= tag added but I don't think it does much to make the map better. One alternative would be to use access=permissive along with highway=residential
