| 118914604 | almost 4 years ago | #TIP: When finished edit in one location, save and upload before moving to a distant location. Also - dikes often have a road on top. When it does, draw the dike as an embankment=dyke instead with the road next to the embankment.

| 118715213 | almost 4 years ago | #TIP: It would be good to add the gate. To add a gate just place a node on the road where the gate is located. Then just search for gate to add the right type of gate. Regarding marking the road as private. If the road is posted with no trespassing then either access=no or access=private is appropriate. If it's not posted then I usually don't limit access. That why friends and relatives can use their gps to route to their house. Let me know if you have questions or need help.

| 118715371 | almost 4 years ago | Can you fix the lane count where you removed the motorway_link?

| 118683638 | almost 4 years ago | I didn't edit it originally but just added the Sulphur Creek Falls as a node on the creek. See changeset/118710144. (I accidentally copied the entire description but fixed it on this edit.) After adding the node to the stream, just search for waterfall. I left your original node in place. BTW - there are two waterfalls with the same name. If they are unnamed it's best to just tag them as a waterfall and not add a descriptive name. I hope this helps.

| 118683638 | almost 4 years ago | #TIP: Waterfalls should be added as a node to the stream with the tag waterway=waterfall + name=* + height=* + width=* (the last three tags are all optional) If the creek hasn't been added yet it's ok to add a node at the location of the waterfall.

| 118681718 | almost 4 years ago | #TIP: phone numbers should be international format, for example +1 360-123-1234. It's a minor problem.
|
| 118562514 | almost 4 years ago | If the path exists someone will likely add it back. I'd suggest adding access=no to the trail. Let me know if you need help adding it back.
|
| 118546935 | almost 4 years ago | This app requires that I review everything as good or bad. There is no in between. When I mark it as bad, it may only be that it doesn't fit the OSM tagging scheme. I'll leave a changeset comment with what I found. Sent email to company. Will remove if I don't hear back shortly.

| 118546935 | almost 4 years ago | This appears to be a private residence - do you want people showing up at your door steps?
|
| 118483495 | almost 4 years ago | #TIP: You can actually draw in the island as someone has done for you. Check out changeset/118483495#map=19/48.95807/-122.72741

| 118391448 | almost 4 years ago | #TIP: incline is either up or down or a percentage or in degrees with the number either positive or negative to indicate direction. See incline=*. Can you review your edit?
|
| 118297268 | almost 4 years ago | Thank you for your edit. I reviewed your work and it looks good. The other alternative might be highway=pedestrian. The big difference between courtyard and either footway or pedestrian is routing. If you want the ability to route people then use a highway tag. If the area isn't used for routing then courtyard could work. See man_made=courtyard

| 118115620 | almost 4 years ago | #TIP: We spell out street names in OSM. The reason is that software has a hard time unabbreviating. I fixed both of your edits. I'll send you more info on OSM in a message.

| 118136385 | almost 4 years ago | Can you explain why it was downgraded from trunk to primary?

| 118114081 | almost 4 years ago | #TIP: Square buildings by selecting the outline then just type a "q"

| 118132296 | almost 4 years ago | This app requires that I review everything as good or bad. There is no in between. When I mark it as bad, it may only be that it doesn't fit the OSM tagging scheme. I'll leave a changeset comment with what I found. We don't tag temporary objects in OSM - such as where police might be waiting. I removed the nodes. I'll send you info on OSM in a message.
