I noticed you didn't connect SE Sage Brooke Road to S Nile Ave. I assumed you didn't because the area is still under construction. If you use the construction tag for the road, it won't be used by routers but will show up. The tag is highway=construction + construction=residential. That way you can connect the new road to the existing highway. If you want to make the change and need any help just let me know.

I agree, most cities in the US use just abbreviations not only for direction but also road type, like blvd, ln, dr, etc.

Long before I started in OSM there was an agreement reached for no street abbreviations. The good news is that software can easily convert to NE.

When I first moved to Mount Vernon, I had a garmin navigation LCD. As we drove into the city, the unit happily announced "Welcome to Mountain Vernon."

p-patch gardens are tagged as landuse=allotments. See landuse=allotments. We have quite a few tagged throughout the area. The reason is OSM was started in England so we use British English usage on tags.

I don't know if it will help, but you can legally use Bing Streetview to get info. They gave us permission a few years back.

I did some checking, the first edit with gnome-maps was Sep 2015. Since then over 7050 changeset have been submitted using gnome-maps. And everyday, over 35K edits are done using the iD editor.

#TIP: Instead of adding the address to the street, just add a node at approximately the main entrance would be. Routers should be able to find the nearest road to use. Let me know if you need help updating your edit.

#TIP: The wheelchair tag on the landuse doesn't help wheelchair users. It's best to tag access to buildings or whole buildings if it's not accessible to wheelchairs.

#TIP: Descriptive names aren't used in OSM. If the trail is unnamed then just don't add a name. Because OSM is a geospatial database, the trails location can be seen.

#TIP: Buildings and other features that seem just off centered may be caused by a shift in more recent aerial imagery. The editor allows you to shift the background to match existing edits. The tool is located in the background layer icon on the right hand side.
