| 155553077 | over 1 year ago | Hi, this changeset deleted a bus stop node (node/7152721728/history) that had some useful info about the stop's features. From what I can tell, changeset/148376709 created a new stop node (node/11703664088) instead of moving the existing one that was only a few metres away. A similar thing seems to have happened in changeset/155687335, where a stop node (node/12133562210) has been created right next to an existing one that was created only a few days earlier (node/12125976295). I love that Sydney's bus routes are getting updated, but can I ask that a bit more care is taken to update existing bus stop nodes, instead of creating new duplicates? StreetComplete users provide useful details about stop details (shelter, bins, etc.) and it's a shame that some of that info is being thrown away. |
| 152476732 | over 1 year ago | Hi, I've just noticed that this changeset added `crossing=no_road_markings_or_traffic_signalsw` on way/1182615189 — was that intentional or a typo? |

In general, the more detail that can be added, the better. It doesn't have to be comprehensive, but each little improvement adds up. For footpaths ("sidewalks") specifically, more detail can be helpful for accessibility routing information — e.g. https://www.opensidewalks.com/ and osm.wiki/Guidelines_for_pedestrian_navigation |

Tags with `:forward` or `:backward` in the key are left over from when the way was bidirectional. But now it's been split into separate ways with `oneway=yes`, tags like `lanes`, `turn:lanes` and `placement` should be either updated or removed, as appropriate for each way.
