instead of
highway=residential
name=24 de Mayo
I see that you use JOSM, so please try the "Validation Results" windows (Alt+Shift+V) to find the errors
and try to fix them.

You are probably right. The ways should be tagged piste:type=* . This is an often used tag in opposite to highway=ski or highway=piste.

in my eyes there is no need to tag the ways with a similar information.
