way/637107125 looks like a service road, rather than residential. Other edits look okay.

Editors should avoid working on huge areas in one changeset - edits in WA, USA and Kedah, MY. Also, described as "editing lanes" but no such lane editing was made in that changeset.

Added redundant oneway=yes tags on junction=roundabout ways , which are already implied for all such tags: way/200605189, way/200605190, way/200605197

In the same changeset, editor appears to add features using multiple imagery sources - but does not factor offsets between imagery.

Is the editor a validator? Changeset appears to be mostly deletions, but from the imagery appear to be valid edits, although many are incorrectly tagged - buy why delete when they may be corrected instead?

New road based on outdated Bing imagery and appears to be temporary, as road and building it serves is no longer visible in newer imagery (ESRI, DG, Mapbox)

Although, way/643248396 was subsequently deleted in c64763083, the original editor appears correct, and Mapillary imagery does show what seems like a service road, albeit incorrectly tagged as residential.

way/242719186 tagged as scrub, could also have been deleted, as well.

Editor is noted to have deleting existing roads and re-adding the same instead of just improving them - which isn't a good practice. Of course, there are known cases where deleting and adding a road is acceptable, but that isn't even the case here.

Covered two discontinous areas, which ideally could've been split to two. Edits to the west are okay, but edits to the east removed the valid driveway tag, and changed the previously better geometry. The editor misinterpreted the angle of features in the imagery and the perceived space between features.

Checking other imagery could've avoided this. This is typical for beginners and easily addressable with proper on-boarding.

Hello @Serdeeneil Merin, and welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM). Thank you for these edits!

Kudos for helping make a better map of your favorite neighborhoods. OSM is a database of real-world features, used by many humanitarian and emergency service organizations. Fictional edits has no place in OSM.

When you have a few minutes to spare, try the browser-based editor called iD, to edit the map of your community. You may find it quicker and easier if you need to update a lot of information on the map.

If you're keen to know more, there's this concise tips page for Philippine contributors: https://telegra.ph/Awesome-OSM-Tips--Tricks-01-28

Also, find out the latest happenings, or interact with local contributors through these community channels: osm.wiki/PH/channels

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to get in touch. You might be doubtful about a particular tag, or would like to clarify their use. Or perhaps, you have ideas you want to flesh out to improve your neighbourhood map. Or maybe just want to know more about OSM.

Cheers,

Hello @marianne. We noticed your recent edits in the Lupang Arendang area, and left earlier comments about your practice of adding names of inhabitants to these dwellings, which goes against the OpenStreetMap policy on private and personal information.

You appear to be the earliest mapper from this group, so I'm directing this message to you, to let you know that all "organized editing" efforts (that means, you and the following users: cyberzeus, Joebertsss, josepgpagatpat, Knowell, and all others who may also be working with you on OSM) is required to create a wiki page to document your work, declare affiliations, and determine who is accountable for your edits.

For more information, kindly refer to the policy document: https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/w/images/1/13/Organised_editing_guidelines_version_20180908.pdf

If you have questions or other concerns, please feel free to get in touch with the local OpenStreetMap community, or with me directly.

Kind regards,
