I attended Passport Camp 2022 in Greensboro College in Greensboro, NC with my church youth group from July 18-23, 2022.

It also tells my experience at camp with my church youth group during the time when that camper threw toilet paper from my dorm room and onto a tree.

For more about the camper that threw toilet paper on the tree behind Hill Hall, my experience with that camper, and my experience after that camper got kicked out of camp, see my comments made in changeset/128967926. It fully tells exactly what happened during that time in Passport Camp 2022. changeset/128967926

It's unknown if the toilet paper and the blue object were removed from the tree behind Hill Hall after Passport Camp 2022. If those things were to be removed from this tree, then how would they be removed? Also the camper who threw toilet paper onto this tree was kicked out of camp on the morning of July 22, 2022 for breaking rules.

All of that said should explain why I abbreviated "Alternate" to "Alt", and why you will see abbreviations of "Alternate" or "Business" on road numbers for U.S. routes on OSM.

131181942 almost 3 years ago

For U.S. highway routes, "Alt" and "Bus" are abbreviations of "Alternate" and "Business" seen on some road signs, online maps (such as Google Maps), and in writing even when the full spelling is used.

131181942 almost 3 years ago

I abbreviated "Alternate" to "Alt" and you changed it back to "Alternate". The reason why I abbreviated "Alternate" is because when you use the full spelling of Alternate or Business on the ref tag, the road number will not show up on it's respective road on OSM because road numbers you see on OSM cannot accommodate the full spelling of Alternate or Business. Therefore, the ref tag for Orange Avenue Northeast should have stayed as "US 11 Alt" and "US 220 Alt" after I abbreviated "Alternate".

131181942 almost 3 years ago

Therefore, "Alt" is the abbreviation of "Alternate".

131181942 almost 3 years ago

Road number will not show up on the map if ref is tagged as "US 11 Alternate" and "US 220 Alternate" instead of "US 11 Alt" and "US 220 Alt".

Statement on the deadly UVA shooting:

And to my bible study leader from Passport Camp, Anna Beamer, leader of Green Circle 20 from the Green House, I heard that you go to University of Virginia (UVA) and I am shocked by the recent shooting at UVA on Sunday night, November 13, 2022, and I hope you are shocked by this deadly tragedy. We condemn the gun violence that has shaken the UVA community and our hearts and prayers go out to the victims of this deadly shooting. My heart breaks for the 3 UVA football players that were shot and killed and I offer my condolences to the families and friends of the victims. We want to thank first responders for their swift response to this deadly tragedy.

The rest of the week of camp for my youth group went well and smoothly after Joe was kicked out. Not knowing what happened to Joe at that time, at dinner, I asked Ashley if she knows where Joe is because I hadn't seen him since we left for our mission site and she said Joe left because his stepmother picked him up and I have my own room now. It was nice to not have Joe anymore and I had my dorm room to myself. On the last night of camp (Day 4), I saw a bit of messes on the floor that Joe made. I also saw black smears next to my door. It's unknown if Joe made those smears. Joe put some Cheez-Its in one of the drawers and left a few animal crackers on the floor. Joe left a bit of a mess in my dorm room and I had to spend the night cleaning up all of Joe's messes, such as cleaning off the Cheez-Its from the drawer and cleaning off the animal crackers from the floor and throwing them in the trash. After I finished cleaning up his messes and cleaned my whole dorm room, I went to sleep and I had a much better sleep than when Joe was here since I didn't have to deal with him coming in and out of my room to be with others during bedtime. The actions and behavior of Joe stated are the reasons why I wouldn't want to have him. But if I were to have Joe again, I would probably watch him the whole time and look out for any out-of-control things he may do and how he might behave.

The next morning on Closing Day, I was fully packed and I packed my sleeping bag, then I left my dorm room for the final time and went outside of Hill Hall one last time and I put my stuff in the church van and then went to do my closing day devotion with my youth group. One student asked if anyone knows what happened to Joe and the other students said Joe got sent home and got kicked out of camp for breaking the rules. The students in my youth group said Joe is out of control and another student, Abbigail, said Joe threw toilet paper out my dorm window and onto a tree and I got mad at it, then she praised me for telling Becca about the toilet paper thrown on the tree. That's when I started to find out that Joe threw the toilet paper out my dorm window and onto a tree, or TP-ing a tree behind my dorm.

At closing day bible study with my camp bible study group, we met with students from other churches one last time and without Joe, bible study went very well and much more smoothly than when Joe was here because we didn't have to deal with him having trouble keeping his mask over his nose all the time and having a bit of trouble observing the camp covenant: love, acceptance, respect. This was a big relief for me, the other students, and my camp bible study leader, Anna. After closing day bible study, we went to the auditorium for the closing celebration and the Green House won House cup of the week. After the closing celebration, all churches were dismissed and started to head home.

My youth group then started to head home and when we got on our trip back home, we stopped at a Chick-fil-A restaurant for lunch. After eating lunch at Chick-fil-A, we then began our trip back home. On the ride home, students were talking about Joe and him drawing penises and I was saying that he drew it on my bathroom door, then Becca asked me if I had a good night's sleep and if it was nice to not have Joe and I said yes. One student, Melissa, felt bad for me because of Joe, and another student said how they wouldn't want to have Joe. The trip back home went very well and smoothly because we didn't have Joe in the van anymore. No more Joe lying on the floor of the van and no more Joe not wearing his seatbelt. It was a big relief for us.

(continued from previous comment above) I used my phone to take a picture of the penis drawing and the faded offensive message on my bathroom door. At sunrise, I woke up, looked at the skies above Greensboro, but saw something I didn't expect to see, toilet paper on the tree. I began to find out why there was no toilet paper in the bathroom for me to use, someone threw it out my dorm window and onto a tree. I took a picture of the toilet paper on the tree with my phone and then went and opened my door and saw some drops of blood on the hallway floor. I took a picture of that also, then went back in my dorm. Later, Becca knocked on my door and I opened the door for her and she asked me if my nose was bleeding and I said no. Some boys from my youth group came to see the blood drops on the floor. I then told Becca that someone threw toilet paper out of my dorm window and onto a tree and I showed her the toilet paper thrown on the tree and Becca thought it was interesting how the toilet paper ended up on the tree. Joe came back in my dorm and Becca asked Joe if he threw toilet paper on the tree and he claimed he didn't do it. I didn't know who really threw toilet paper on the tree at that time and I showed the photo of the penis drawing on my bathroom door on my phone to my adult chaperone, Ashley, and Joe claimed that it was already there when we first got there, however, I started to think that it's not true the penis drawing was already there when we first got there. I started to think Joe drew that on my bathroom door because it looked like he drew it. Then I went downstairs to put my phone in Becca's room with the other students' phones and went to breakfast.

At breakfast in the dining hall, I saw Joe sitting next to Cade and it appeared Joe was not eating breakfast. Becca came in the dining hall and I heard Cade telling her Joe's mother is on his way. It appeared Becca called Joe's mother to pick up Joe from camp. After finishing eating breakfast, I went out of the dining hall and went outside the Greensboro Residence Hall and sat on the brick stairs to do my morning devotion with my youth group. I then saw Becca and Cade having a serious talk with Joe about his out-of-control behavior and actions during the week of camp. After morning devotion, we went to the auditorium for the morning celebration and then dismissed to bible study. My camp bible study group was gathering outside the auditorium getting ready to go to bible study. Once we started going to bible study, my bible study group was told to wait and I saw Becca talking with Anna and Becca had to borrow Joe for another serious talk with him. Then the rest of my camp bible study group moved on to our bible study location.

Once at our bible study location, it was nice that we didn't have to deal with Joe until Becca allowed Joe back to bible study after a serious talk. After bible study, we went to picnic lunch and during that time, Joe's mother arrived on campus to pick him up. After finishing picnic lunch, my youth group was starting to head to our mission site for the day. Before we left for our mission site, Joe got kicked out and sent home from camp for breaking the rules. We then went to our mission site without Joe, which was nice to not have him with us for the rest of the week at camp since we didn't have to deal with him anymore. One upside of Joe getting kicked out of camp is that we didn't have to deal with him lying on the floor of the van, sitting in the van without his seatbelt on, and doing some stupid, out-of-control things. It was a great relief for me and the rest of my youth group.

Joe Collins getting kicked out of Passport Camp:

Before going to bed on the night of Day 3 of camp, I saw a few insects on my dorm room floor during the week and not knowing the insect repellent I was going to use to was for outdoor use, I decided to spray insect repellent on my floor and on my bathroom floor to keep the insects away. After that, two people, one man named Cade and another youth camper named Fawad came into my room and smelled what smelled like bug spray. Cade asked if I sprayed bug spray in my room and I told him it was insect repellent I sprayed because there were bugs in my room. I showed Cade the insect repellent I used and he said it's for outdoor use which I didn't even know and it contains deet which is poisonous. It turned out that I sprayed deet in my room because I was trying to keep the insects away. Cade and Fawad started to inhale the insect repellent fumes and started coughing so Cade had to open my window to let the fumes out and the fresh air in. Then Cade and Fawad went out of my room to get fresh air. Joe came into my room and also started to inhale the insect repellent fumes and started coughing and went out of my room to get fresh air. Cade then told others that I sprayed deet in my room to keep the bugs away.

We were going to bed at 11:30 pm and Joe stayed up after that time and had a friend named Colby come into my dorm. I was fine with Joe and Colby staying in my dorm for the time being. I heard Joe starting to do something and with my window left open, Joe started throwing toilet paper out of the window and onto a tree. Colby saw him doing that and laughed at it. I didn't see the toilet paper being thrown out the window and did not know that Joe threw the toilet paper out the window and onto a tree at that time. I never thought Joe was going to do that. Then Joe laughed at what he did and showed Colby the toilet paper on the tree. After that, the deet fumes in my room had gone away and Joe closed the window. Then Colby walked out of my room and then we went to sleep. But Joe couldn't go to sleep and stayed up all night running around and being with Colby all the time. That's when my youth minister, Becca Wheeler came and saw Joe out of my room playing around with Colby all the time during the middle of the night. Becca reprimanded Joe for his actions that night and told him it was "unbelievable". Becca apologized to me about Joe then she told Joe that he is going to sleep in her room for the night but Joe refused to do so and Becca told him again that he will sleep with him for the night and told him to come with her. But Joe refused to do so again and then Becca warned Joe that he has 30 seconds to come with her before she calls his dad to pick him up. Joe finally does it and starts bringing his sleeping bag but Becca then decides to call Joe's parents anyway and tells him they can do it now or do it first thing in the morning. Joe carried his sleeping bag and walked out of my room with Becca to sleep with her in her room. Then I went back to sleep.

Later at some point, I woke up and walked around my room then I felt like I had to use the bathroom so I went to the bathroom to go poop. I sat on the toilet and realized there was no toilet paper to wipe my bottom after I go. I saw a penis drawing on the bathroom stall door that appears to be drawn by Joe, and there was an offensive message written above it but it looked faded and didn't know if Joe wrote that message. Without toilet paper and after I finished using the bathroom, I had to figure out how I was going to clean my bottom without toilet paper. I then figured out how I was going to do that, I went to the shower and had to use bathtub water to clean my bottom. I sat with my bottom overhanging the side of the tub and turned on the water and cleaned my bottom using the bathtub water. I didn't leave a lot of dirt on the tub and after I finished cleaning my bottom, I rinsed the bathtub clean. I then used a towel to dry my bottom and after I dried my bottom with a towel, I went back to sleep. (continued in next comment below)

The camper who threw toilet paper on the tree was the roommate that I stayed with during camp. He goes by the name of Joseph "Joe" Collins. He was out of control, couldn't keep his mask over his nose all the time during the morning celebrations, bible study, worship, and other indoor spaces that required masks (does not include our dorm rooms). During my youth group's trip to camp, Joe was lying on the floor of the van and couldn't sit in his seat the whole time and sometimes sat in the van without a seatbelt on. He was seen wearing his mask under his nose and his mask only covering his mouth in indoor spaces. During bible study, Joe had a bit of trouble showing love, acceptance, and respect, which was the camp covenant for the week. Joe was never called out for not observing the camp covenant for the week because his troubles to observe that were very minimal to the point where my camp bible study leader didn't have to call him out. My bible study leader from camp, Anna Beamer, the leader of Green Circle 20 from the Green House, told Joe to keep his mask over his nose during bible study and Joe went like "My bad". He drew penises on the college, drew it on someone's passport, and drew it on my bathroom stall door. Joe claimed the penis drawing was already there when we first got there, but I started to think that it was not true because it looked like he drew it. Joe thought it was funny of what he did and how he acted during the week of camp until my youth minister had serious talks with him about his behavior and actions and then got kicked out. And yes he's still out of control today.

About tree at the back of Hill Hall: A Passport camper threw toilet paper from dorm room 232 in Hill Hall onto this tree on the night of Day 3 of Passport Camp 2022. Toilet paper was not the only thing thrown on this tree, something blue was also hanging on this tree. It's unknown if those things were removed from this tree or what happened to them after Passport Camp. Also, the camper who threw toilet paper on said tree was kicked out of camp the next morning (Day 4 of camp) for breaking rules.
