Pretty sure all interstates are not supposed to be tagged as a motorway or else I-180 in Cheyenne would be marked as one even though that is obviously not a motorway

All good. This was from a while ago when I didn't understand these principles of OSM anyways.

Just because a road has to ramps to two different motorway doesn't make it a motorway right? This seems to just be Willis Avenue on a bridge that has two connections in a short span. 125th street spans the distance between two different motorways and has nearby connections to them but thats also just a regular road right?

Can you please explain what your intentions are or what you are trying to do? I cannot tell if you are trying to remove these landuse features but it seems that you are trying to since when you edit these tags you leave the scrub relations unclosed and thus essentially deleting the feature since unclosed relation will not appear on the map.

this isnt a freeway brotherman

Yes. My bad about forgetting about this.

92484545 about 5 years ago

I understand your reasoning but that has nothing to do with the significance of the road right? Without the 395 Mono County would be deserted.

92484545 about 5 years ago

Can you explain your reasoning? I don't understand what you mean by "this region generally uses trunk to mean expressway." Who is "this region?" Anyways, the wiki definition clearly indicates that his is eligible to be designated as a trunk as it is not paralleled by an interstate and is a major route for the Owens Valley and high desert.

I covered it with the wood tag since the area is still relatively wooded. if you think that that is inappropriate I can undo such edits.

Sorry for my irresponsibility. I’ll make sure to execute what you stated if I edit again.

90467627 about 5 years ago

Sorry about that. Will do in the future.

My apologies. I was using an older definition on the wiki from months ago. I made edits upgrading similar roads to trunk roads and they were all reverted because they did not meet the standards of the time. When editing this, I failed to check the definitions for any updates. If there are any inconsistencies, among other things, that is why. I am very sorry.

You know these roads are private right? Not anybody can drive through these roads nor do traffic laws within the California Vehicle Code aplly on these roads. They are owned by a HOA and can trespass anybody from the roads. Please stop changing these roads from private.

Yeah I agree that landcover does not follow borders like that but it takes a lot of time to follow natural boundaries, and as such this is a work in progess. I do not know how to edit along natural lines all at once. You can clearly see that in the north-east park of the wood I have spent time following natural lines while I am yet to get to it in the north-west portion of the same.

I don't see anything else within the area. Let me know if you see any other land/biomes because i cannot.

I have no clue. I honestly do not know how that tag was created or added.

From what I understood is that I could use things like census boundaries to constittute marking such as a survey

Here it states that the counties have water boundaries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_counties_in_Michigan

86532897 over 5 years ago

Just because a sheriff is elected in one county does not mean that their powers do not extend throughout the entire state. Also the attorney general does not prosecute crimes that occur within the lakes as the county district attorneys do that. Also see the water area of the counties, such as those listed here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Buren_County%2C_Michigan
