This Conference was a Good opportunity for me and all the team from Rwanda as well as Africa in General because it was the first time of Africa to host the state of the Map. apart from traveling from Kigali to Nairobi for 26hours in the bus ,I enjoyed every details in the conference and Nairobi.

DAY ONE TO LAST

The Sotm Nairobi 2024 official started from 6th to 9th September, what a good moment to connect with brilliant minds , Geospatial experts and, fellow mappers from all over the world ,it was exciting to follow every session and presentation that was shared; like UN-Maps ,I was amazed by the presentation of how public transportation can be improved by maps. The information corrected was incredibly helpful to my knowledge and learning. \

I can not mention every thing, but the social event at BAO BOX is vibrating again and again, playing Golf,singing and dancing at once it was incredible opportunity to be there.
Special thanks to HOT and Geoffrey for helping me to attend the conference ,thanks the team of organizers ,you did a great work for the 3 days of the event. Have a blast and let’s Map! Eugenie de Jesus \
