almost 6 years ago | But with all due respect, what I show about tram-train are proposals (and I assume it is SUI GENERIS for OSM). Maybe this is a "off-topic", and you have the right to say this coment. I am not the only one, another user is checking if it is correct to keep the tram stops in this relation (in Ukraine): relation/8765532#map=19/47.88220/33.38318 All this could be solved if the documentation allowed "tram stop" (or maybe I don't see it, I guess you know better than me Mr Kofler). PS: I added a note tag in route master about this discussion. I would appreciate it if you DON'T EDIT it because you would save foreign mappers to understand why the route is "hybrid."
about 6 years ago | ...And RIver Line, tram-train, but tagged like light rail with light rail stations (from some tram stops with "station" definition). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_Line_(NJ_Transit) PS: I updated this network to this modality for the reasons already indicated at the beginning of this discussion. Which I agree to have a new tag called route=tram-train.
about 6 years ago | ...Or Kyoto: relation/10238008 (Some tram stops are stations).
about 6 years ago | Thanks Rudolf for a more honest and hopeful answer. You are right that there is a misinterpretation of "station" and it is precisely because the route is labeled "light rail" (for the validaor). It would be correct to declare the route as "tram" because there are tram stops. However, seeing on Wikipedia I found the clearest definition "tram-train" (not to call "hybrid light rail tram"). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tram-train Unfortunately there is no information about it in OSM. It would be interesting to add a suggestion about this type of route. And I do not mean Vienna, but several routes that lead in the world. For example UK (http://www.railtechnologymagazine.com/Rail-News/uks-first-ever-tram-train-launches-in-yorkshire-)
about 6 years ago | Sorry for some inconvenience in writing, but I had to give an opinion on my participation.
| 78833648 | about 6 years ago | railway=light_rail This articles lacks of information about hybrid light rail/tram transport. > https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_der_Stationen_der_Lokalbahn_Wien%E2%80%93Baden

about 6 years ago | Greetings. The detail is that the route is indicated to light rail and I take to upgrade the stations. About station tag in buildings is controversial (I set POIs of stations in Japan, but I don't sure if is permitted in this country), so some of them have tagged railway = halt to indicate that it is a halt.
about 6 years ago | Sorry for late reply. I put the location of the subway station because I saw that the stops were there, so I didn't set the real location of this station. Anyway, thanks for that detail.
over 6 years ago | I was searching the english name from website and Wikipedia data. Thanks for the suggestion.
over 6 years ago | This note is only a clarification, related to the stations rendering.

over 6 years ago | This solution avoids "redundant" rendering on the map. As a result, the map only shows the light rail stations.

over 6 years ago | Thank you for your fast reply.
over 6 years ago | Meanwhile, I'll be waiting to find some error. Also, this is the page that indicates if there is a error in the Hong Hong routes from this validator. The results are updated about 3 times a day. http://osm-subway.maps.me/china.html
over 6 years ago | Right, that's what I can explain to you. (I clarify that I am not the creator of this validator. However, when I found the error "stop node #### is not connected to a station on the route" I had to investigate the reason for this problem in this Github repository and more). I recommend that you send a message to @Claudius%20Henrichs, he knowns this mechanism better. Also, he can report any inconvenience to maps.me developers.
