The portion of the Wilket Creek Trail that traverses the Edwards Gardens is a contradiction. On the one hand the Toronto Cycling Network Map of 2023 declares it as a multi-use path. On the other hand, there are multiple signs asking bicycles to dismount.

I can't find any current indication that Gatineau Hydro Corridor Trail is still closed at Birchmount. On the contrary, TrailForks gives it the all-clear as of September 2022.

Oof. I was confused earlier. I now think that private vehicles are allowed through York Blvd. What I'm quite sure about is that there is no cycling infrastructure here, based on aerial imagery, street-level pictures and the Toronto Cycling Map of 2023.
