Hi
landuse=grass is not required. It is for specific areas as indicated in the wikipage's first sentence:
landuse=grass

The landuse of golf features is 'golf' not grass.
To distinguish any differences the 'surface' tag should be used.

golf=* are a specific sport subset of leisure=pitch.
The tag to distinguish it's playing finish is 'surface'
leisure=pitch

Please don't assume a validator's *suggestion* is valid or correct.

I've flagged it as an error:

PS The name is certainly not how you tagged it.

In the iD editor there's a way to ask for your edits to be reviewed, I recommend using it.

Hi
When using a function limited app, please be aware that many entities are already mapped as polygon ways. Please don't add duplicates as nodes

Are there signs for the path along the railway path section? I last looked for them a couple of years ago & never spotted any.

leisure=golf_course

Golf features have recently been included for rendering in OSM-carto which is considered the 'standard' map. They render as if assumed to be all grass, but adding that specific tag is useful, & should be added as 'surface'.

surface=*

Others for golf maybe 'artificial_turf' & matting.

If using iD editor be sure to click the 'ignore' option to avoid it automatically adding it's 'landuse' suggestion.

Hi
You're the second person to mention this software.
Are you using it? I don't know much about it. Is it just extracting golf data from OSM, or is it adding data & creating duplicates?

112523699 about 4 years ago

Hi
Welcome to OSM.
Is there a reason you created a new CFP relation & renamed the original to (b)?
OSM has a policy of 'One feature, one OSM element':
osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element

Probably best if you transfer your recent additions over to the original relation.

97113115 about 4 years ago

OK. This is *NOT* how OSM works.
The database is implemented to a certain standard.
One of the accepted rules:
osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element

All data users have to abide by the standards & work to them.
If there's a problem with *their* software then you need to contract them.
Please correct your errors.
